“We enjoyed our stay”
Reviewed June 25, 2014

We enjoyed our stay at Silva beach. Food was great, stuff are very kind and helpful. The hotel is located in the centre of the town, very convenient but very calm.
The room is a bit too simple, but with everything needed.
Anyway, the hotel is with good value and we are thinking to come back again.

Room Tip: Try to get room over looking the pool.

Hi stayed at the silva beach 30th april untill 7th may. The weather was lovely it got hotter and hotter as week went on had about half a day in the morning when it was cloudy and rained but just go shopping.

The surrounding area is great for drinking and eating and the people are lovely. Surprised how many amenities are on your doorstep for a all inclusive hotel.

Lovely food and hospitality at the med bar and restaurant about 100 meters walk on the beach. I had my birthday meal there soo welcoming food great.

The karaoke bar across the road as got lovely staff too met Anna she was lovely.

Yes we went all inclusive but we still like to enjoy a few drinks and meals out. Talking of which the food was nice . Breakfast was either cooked bacon mixture of eggs etc cereal pancakes omeletes what else do you need. Also cheese n meat platters but not for me at breakfast and nice croissants.

The rolls at the snack bar were good at lunch round the pool.

Main meals at other meals were a mix of usual you get on all inclusive never went hungry.

Drinks were nice plastic glasses around pool but if sat at pool bar proper glasses.

The only negative and this is because season was just starting was that the beach bar was not open think it opens mid May. And the show cooking and other restaurant was not open.

The staff was all lovely but entertainment was minimal during the day it was darts table tennis but the animation guy tried and was helpful.

Night entertainment was just music playing in pool bar but like I said start of season.

Another thing this hotel is now not adults only spoke to manager and this is their first year of allowing children.

We stayed in garden room and they was clean and looked like they had been modernised flat screen TV and cd player.

The grounds are lovely plenty of greenery and pools were nice a bit cold at first but got used to it and was welcoming when it got too hot. My partner is a bit nesh and he couldnt resist going in.

So all in all lovely place plenty of shops n bars nice little beach coves to bathe in dont know what it would be like high season but for the money I would go back if there were not so many other lovely places to try in Greece.

Went with my partner and 2 other friends would return in future.

My wife and me (55 and 65 years old respectively) spent the last week in April and first week in May 2014 at the Silva Beach hotel. We had the most enjoyable holiday. I cannot think of one criticism of the hotel and its staff. The food was excellent and varied. We ate 42 meals over the fortnight. Oink Oink. The staff, to a man (and woman), were helpful - always friendly and positive. The hotel grounds were in full flower and very well kept. Room clean and smart. Our room had a small balcony with a scented bush and a pomegranite tree. Hotel quiet despite being near the main road but shop, bar and restauant access very good because of it. Beach was one side of grounds so very close. All inclusive very good value. Entertainment good despite it being early season. I would recommend it to anyone and would go again but wife likes variation in venue and country. Jeff

Room Tip: Not all have sea views and as it is largely two stories, an elevated room gives more privacy.

We are a young couple from Israel, spent 3 nights at the hotel and it was great.
The hotel is very clean. The staff was very nice.
We didn't like the lunch and dinner and preferred to eat out, but many people enjoyed the food. Breakfast was good. The annex room was big and clean, very simple not fancy at all.
The location is great, 2 large pools, on the beach lovely set up, its just in the center of Hersonissos but very calm. We liked that although its a large hotel, we had privacy and space. Its a very beautiful hotel with a great location.
We recommend to bring bag spray and ask the reception for a device against mosquitos.
Enjoy!!

Room Tip: Sea view! Rooms are large, some of the anexx rooms located on a high floor no alivator

We returned at the weekend from this hotel and definitely agree with all the positive things
being written about it. We had a comfortable garden room with a fridge which is great for
cool drinks as the weather was fantastic. From check-in to check-out we were treated as if
we were friends. The food as already stated was very varied with something for everyone and
I think I gained half a stone with the fabulous deserts! In spite of the size of the hotel we never had to wait for a table or queue for our meal and dishes were removed as soon as finished.
The lovely manager was always available and though I had no complaints it was nice to see that
he was always there if needed. The hotel Is like a little village with lots of greenery and a lovely
pool and also very peaceful for the amount of guests living there. For anyone with a walking problem there were ramps beside all the stairs making for easy access. I cant finish my
review without a mention of all the bar staff who were great especially Nikos in the lobby bar who
was very efficient yet still had time to make everyone feel welcome. Thank you Nikos we enjoyed
your company and thank you to everyone who made our stay a nice one.

Room Tip: We had a garden room away from the pool so very quiet.

Just a short bus ride from the airport, and we reach a very long street, which is filled with shops, restaurants, cafes and hotels. Silva Beach Hotel seems from first glance like a solid and cool place to stay. Personnel is smiling and our bags are carried into our Double Room with Side Sea View. The room is beautiful and decorated in soft colors. Balcony and bathroom are a bit small but pleasant. 20 steps and we were ready to begin our first lunch with a variety of good food and drinks in Minoan Restaurant. Then we went to the Romantic Bar where we were always warmly welcomed by Giannis, Zacharias, Thanasis and Giorgos. Big thanks to you guys! Next to the Romantic Bar there is a pool with clean water. Irresistible under the hot sun! And there is another pool and a bar on your way to the sea. Everyone are always happy - especially the animation team: Thomas, Tanja and Eddy.

Just returned from a week at the Silva Beach, and for what we paid I thought it was excellent value. We had a Garden View room, which was comfortable, with a double bed, and enclosed shower. There was also a fridge provided. The safety deposit box is 3 euros daily. We both thought the food was good, with plenty of choice. As regards the drinks it is locally produced spirits, wine and beer. The beer was weak, but the spirits were fine, as are the Ouzo and Raki. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived just after midnight, and were given a salad, and wine and beer was available. On our last day we were told as we had arrived late to have lunch on our all inclusive package - so we didn't lose out at all. We kept our room on until 6pm, and I believe the rate for this has will now be 45 euros. The hotel is well located for beaches, and the other amenities in the town. We would both use this hotel again.

Room Tip: If you are able to, go for at least a Garden View room, as they are all in the main hotel complex
