“Charming, well equipped delightful home which is clearly much loved by the owners.”
Reviewed February 21, 2017 for a stay in August 2016

Siran is an attractive, unspoilt village. There is a cafe which serves all day including lunch and evening meals, and is very well patronised by locals and visitors. There is a Boulangerie and a small supermarket plus pizza, butcher and fish vans which stop in the centre square , make catering easy. There are good restaurants at Minerve and Ventenac which is on the Canal, and a wide choice in many of the surrounding villages and towns. Tennis courts in the village are free to use and there are lovely walks in the hills behind Siran.
The house has excellent facilities with excellent bed linen, 4 good bathrooms and showers and a great kitchen with 2 dishwashers. Children have table tennis, pool and other games and the swimming pool provides endless fun if you don't feel like leaving the house which we often didn't. The swimming pool being on the first floor has sunshine all day long and we enjoyed lounging there, with the village church bells punctuating the day, if we weren't happily dozing off over a book! A truly lovely experience of the French way of life in a very friendly village was what we were hoping for and we were more than satisfied with our choice of 4 Rue de la Mairie..

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful house and can't recommend it highly enough. The swimming pool is lovely and clean, the house has a stunning, sweeping staircase, the decor is tasteful and stylish and there is great entertaining space.

Management Response
Sep 10, 2016
Dear Nic,
Firstly, we do specify 15 as a maximum number of guests. Well, I'm glad you enjoyed your holiday. We don't specify the size of the table tennis or pool table and we certainly weren't rude about your request to buy one for you! I would certainly have enquired first if renting a house were contingent on a full sized tabble tennis table. It's been perfect for us( and indeed every other guest) so I'm afraid I didn't even think about it.
As you say we don't claim to have wifi which is a choice we have made.
I actually washed the rugs myself right before your stay so I'm afraid I can't see how they were dirty but I'm sorry to hear it was cobwebby. It is an old house with lime plasterwork which means it doesnt ever really look spotless but I will definitely investigate this.

“Fabulous!”
Reviewed August 17, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Amazing house in a lovely village. We had a fantastic holiday in this place. We stayed with family and the kids had a great time in the pool and using the hammock. There was plenty of choice for places to sit and eat. The bbqs were well used too!

“Beautiful French house”
Reviewed June 8, 2016 for a stay in April 2016

I fell in love with house, it is exactly what I had been looking for. Besutifully decorated in a gentle shabby chic style which allowed the beauty of the old house to shine through. It was huge, 7 lovely bedrooms and luckily for us, a Cody living room with log burner as we had a cold day when we were there. The pictures of the terrace do not do it justice, it's fabulous, we spent a lot of time up there. The kitchen is great, big enough for a few people to happily prepare food together. The walled garden is lovely with outdoor tables and chairs. I was worried that it was on a road but its so quiet! Siran is a tiny village and there was no noise! Nick , the caretaker was kind and helpful and could not go enough for us.
We are at the chateau , a 5 min walk away and the meal was fabulous( ignore bad reviews).
All in all a wonderful birthday weekend in a fabulous house.
