I had visted holumba on 9th march-12, that place was the best start for my honeymoon..its cool, calm peaceful and far away from the city life...love the hospitality and environment here..
i stayed in tree top cottage which is perfect for honeymoon couple...

Room Tip: for honeymoon couple "tree top is best" and for a family Spring site is awsum

Stayed here at the end of a trek in Sikkim. Potentially it's a lovely place but has a run-down appearance. All of the sheds for planting were empty and the rooms were dirty. The proprietor was very friendly and the food was good though.

This is a homestay, where they respect your privacy and give you the space you need to take a break from everyday life.

I have been going here for over 4 years now and I can't have enough of it.

The people who run the place are wonderful human beings and very well informed about the region.

The food is healthy and plentiful.

Holumba Haven in itself is a sight to see. They have a variety of cottages to choose from at affordable rates.

Like I said, must visit.

This place has a fitting name, a haven of hospitality and peace. The service was top notch, and both dinner and breakfast was very good. We also got an upgrade in rooms.

nice B&B...good location, tastefully decorated nice big rooms, pretty economical....downfalls- bit too basic with no TV, with nothing much to do in Kalimpong it becomes a bit boring, bit too basic lacking proper heating, hot water limited, food quality not too good (for vegetarians)..service takes ages, no room service & quite a climb from 1st cottage to main area...nice overall for a day or two
