Reviewed March 25, 2013

I stayed in this hotel in March 2013 for three days. Rooms are quite good. Bathroom is also good (though an exhaust fan would make it better). Staff were polite (all of them). I didn’t try the restaurant as I found the rates too high. Location is near perfect – it never makes you feel you’re far from the see (it’s a tiny walk). From the balcony of the hotel you get a magnificent view of the sea on another side. The only thing I found objectionable was the use of the term “sea view” for superior rooms. I think it is natural for one to think of the sea right in front of the window when you read these words. However, if you have that sort of romantic thought in your mind – you will be terribly disappointed because all you will get to see is a small slice of the sea (far away) NOT from your window but from a tiny balcony attached to the room. I have given a photo to show what sort of “sea view” I got from the room I stayed. The “non-sea” view rooms had also a balcony but without the sea view. Personally, it didn’t impress me one bit. I would have opted for the non-sea view room for the much lower room rate. For me sea view has only one meaning a view of the whole sea from the window like Puri hotel.
