“A good concept”

This was my first visit to a museum which had such detailed tracking and display of indigenous culture. Its 7 floors of history and needs atleast 2 hours to go through for someone who is interested in understanding the lineages.

“Well made”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

An interesting place as it has cultural information on all North East tribes. Since we couldn't possibly read and remember everything, we concentrated on the Khasis and Jaintias as these would be the cultures we would be exposed to during or trip. Do not miss the folklore on how the Khasis originated. It is a well designed museum.

“Compact, Very insightful, superb audio-video”

Must visit in Shillong, excellent collection of cultural ethnicity of the North East. Don't miss it, and devote at least 2-3 hours to do justice to it. And, you must pay Rs 200 for the camera fee, you won't regret it (I did)!
