Located right in the midst of market, this resort is full value for money.
There is a lot of scope for improvement in the gaming area for kids.
The resort has a nice swimming pool & all other facilities are good too.

Room Tip: Opt for "all meal" plan, food is too good to be missed.

Adamo seemed to be one of the better properties in the vicinity of the matheran market, especially if you're looking for something relatively central. It's a five minute walk from the market and a 15min walk at best from the train stop. (One can drive up to dasturi point, park your car at the govt parking lot and take a twenty min toy train ride to matheran). The hotel is also relatively close to the lake and other properties around.

The resort is well maintained. The pool is small and a bit unclean, mostly because the greenery and monkeys around.

We stayed at the deluxe villa for 2 nights. The villa has two modern, clean rooms which were fairly spacious..the restrooms also were very clean and new. No complaints there. A shout out to the staff for great service and the hotel made a visible effort to provide entertainment and good service to patrons. Room service is prompt.

Food at the hotel was basic veg food ( gujarti style) with the occasional change, which was decent at best...and its breakfast spread is minimalistic.

A decent stay for a place like matheran. The resort is expensive, but then compared to other properties in the vicinity it works out decent given that the rooms are modern and clean and service was good.

Staff of the hotel its very helpful, especially the guy at reception (not the lady i am sorry),very fast room service, very good food, rooms are clean,toilet/bathroom needs more improvement, food is best ,veg only, they provide thali in lunch and for dinner there is a pool side buffeot, breakfast is ok not so special, very large varieties in dinner too.But the hotel is quiet expensive for a city like matheran,we have booked thro a travel portal so can't get much discounts also has to pay 6000 extra for the children at resort (they charge above 2 years age which is ridiculous, make sure and confirm before booking),so if you can directly talk with manager at resort for booking without a mediator then i think you may can get some discount,it will be best if you directly go to matheran and search for a good hotel, small city so no problem and no such rush, and you will have a chance to bargain also,if u like.May have rated 4 star if there is indoor or outdoor gaming facilities for children.

Room Tip: Regent deluxe type rooms are sufficient.

We rchd Matheran around 1:00 pm and checked in with Adamo, The Resort.

It is a good place in a small place like Matheran. For us it was 3k (all incl.). We stayed at the Regency rooms which are really spacious, good interiors, well maintained and with a pool view. Food served is really good but it is pure veg. So for ppl like me (pure non veg) would have to compromise a bit. But then, food here is worth. People were nice in the resort, always courteous.

Pool is well maintained but not too big as compared to Adamo, The Village. Evenings are arranged with DJ, magic show, housie etc. Nice place for kids too.

We also went for a Kerala massage which might or might not be liked by everyone. It is good but it is more of hard than relaxing or soft.

Points that need improvement:
1. Hot water only from 8 to 12 pm.
2. Breakfast option is really very limited.

Word of caution: Do not keep ur room windows or balcony doors open as monkey(s) might get in which is unpleasant. They only look for food.

Really enjoyed 2 days with my wife at Matheran with Adamo, The Resort.

Thanks,
Kalyan Ganguly

Stayed here for 2 days in the Regent Deluxe Room. Very spacious and well furnished room & bathroom. Being a strict jain food is always my concern but this hotel served superb jain food all the time. Close to matheran station so travelling wasn't much of a hassle unlike other hotels. The staff is very helpful. A well maintained recreation area with pool table, TT, Carom etc. made the stay better. Swimming pool is something you should surely give a miss as it is pretty dirty to even take a dip forget swimming.

How can i forget to review this place ? If you are with family and looking for a real resort experience with excellent Pure Veg and Jain Food....THIS IS IT.....no need to look for anything else. I visited this place in Feb 2013, we were 3 couples with small kids. Rooms are very clean and new. Property is very well maintained. Food is superb, I believe whenever you travel you need good food to keep your mood upbeat and enjoy other things around. Pool is big enough. There is a small children play area with slides, see-saw etc, nice sit out, open to air area for breakfast and dinner, luck is served in restaurant..usually a spread gujarati thali. They have a basement indoor games zone. Hotel is little away from station but that is fine in Matheran, as no vehicles are allowed, walking and enjoying the location is fun.

Room Tip: All rooms are good but Rooms by pool side are easy to access all facilities
