We spent two nights here, It was as perfect holiday as we could have hoped for. Our room, on the left side of the pool coming down from reception, were very clean and extremely comfortable. Many "view points" are within a 20 minute walk from the hotel, and the motor-transport free Matheran is a walkers' paradise. Food is excellent And the Gujju thali for lunch is just what you need to quench the appetite you work up with those looong walks. Be watchful for the monkeys though...they are absolutely alert to drop down from the trees and snatch away your precious food packets..... Definitely intend going back here...
