My husband and I just spent one night at The Lakehouse Inn. It was beautiful and has a wonderful location. We were pleasantly surprised with a bottle of wine to celebrate our 24th anniversary! Their restaurant is under renovation, but they were preparing meals for guests of the Inn on weekends. We had a fabulous meal, homemade spinach fettucine with shrimp in a lemon cream sauce. We had the eating area in the Inn completely to ourselves which was very romantic. The room was very clean and extremely quiet. We did not even hear other guests moving around and the place was booked. I would definitely recommend The Lakehouse Inn to anybody!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stat at The Lakehouse Inn Beach House. Although there was construction at the time we visited, we still had a great time. The beach house is beautifully decorated and located close to the lake. The staff was friendly. A great location. We plan to make an annual visit. Thank you.

We purchased a Living Social deal to spend a few days at the Lakehouse Inn and we couldn't have been more pleased! Our visit to the Lakehouse Inn was perfect! We even got blessed with 70's temps in March! The staff was awesome, everyone helpful and friendly. The cottage was just right, clean, pretty decor, comfortable beds, with lots of little extras to make the stay even more fun. The wine tour was informative. We had cooked breakfast each day with choices of a special menu along with the regular breakfast items. The highlight was the dinner! The food was absolutely worth what we paid for the whole stay!
All of this while enjoying a gorgeous lakefront view of Lake Erie. We spent one afternoon just enjoying a bottle of wine, purchased from the winery, on the patios overlooking the lake. We are sure hoping the special runs again. We will definitely visit the Lakehouse Inn again! Thank you!

Room Tip: There are only a few choices for "lakefront" view, so make sure to ask. We stayed in a cot...

I went there for a litle R&R for a few days by myself and had an awesome experience. The construction going on never interfered with my stay. The rooms are immaculate! What came out of the kitchen in the morning looked amazing and I heard they were delicious!! Since I am currently on a restricted diet, there were no problems in ordering what I could eat. The staff is very accommodating.......and I soooo much appreciated it! I stayed in the Sunset suite which was perfect just for me. I will definitely be back and looking forward to it! The view alone off the porches is breath taking, I can see why people have weddings there.......wow!

Room Tip: From what I saw looking at several of the rooms - I dont think you can wrong no matter which room is...

You can rarely go wrong when your near Lake Erie...but the LakeHouse Inn has captured the ability to take the perfect location on our wonderful Lake Erie and as Emeril says: "Pump it up a few notches!"

Even though they have a construction project underway, the staff welcomed us, provided lots of details about the area and created the opportunity for the Lakehouse to become our home for just a couple days! Kitchenette in great room for any "munchie" time needs as well as additional goodies en suite--champagne and chocolate covered strawberries upon arrival...Sweeet!

Breakfast was a very imaginitive delight--try the lemon bluberry pancakes-you will not be disappointed--the endless cup of coffee (locally roasted beans!) Bravo!

But, there's MORE! the intimate winery tour on site was a treat--Sam loves his work! And, the preview tasting to what wines might accompany a 5 course meal at 6 pm...ooo la, la!

When the locals at the High Tide Bar tell you dinner's good--you know something's up! We travel extensively and we were quite pleased to sit with 8 new friends of all ages and savour the visual appeal as well as the delectable tastes of our meal--Congratulations to the team who are creating:

SWEET DREAMS @ the LAKEHOUSE INN

Wine pairings with our meal are well worth mentioning!

Don't miss the opportunity to experience the simplicity of waves lapping Erie's shore--coupled with all these amenities...and, oh...don't forget the spa that just opened!

...did I mention home-baked cookies...in the afternoon...mmmmmm!
