Prompt & pleasant service. I enjoyed the shrimp linguine - over 10 large shrimp with spinach linguine. Husband liked his steak. Good salads & warm rolls fresh from the oven.

I loved the setting, could have done without the night club singer on Saturday-too loud and the music seemed geared towards 80 year olds. The food was oversalted on Friday. Everything we ate was oversalted and we left most of our meal on Friday. On Saturday our meal was much better. The shrimp fettucini was too die for. Now on the 2nd day we had wine with our meal and recommendations from the manager, Sam, of what kind of wine to pair with the meal. I must say I did grow tired of the Pino Griggio which was recommened to go with the appetizer and the main course. The wine choices also seem to be very limited. The mixed drinks on Friday were very weak and lacked much ice and the alcohol seemed drowned by the mixers. The best thing was the attention we received from our servers and from Sam. Breakfast was OK, nothing special, but again the waitress was very attentive and friendly and that made it more special. I must say I would be afraid to pay ahead for the wine and chocolate tasting that they try to push on you before you arrive. Also they try to urge you to make reservations before you get there for dinner. I would recommend waiting til you get there to decide. There are plenty of places in town to eat as well- take the covered bridge tour and go exploring :)

During a weekend escape we came across this gem with a little feedback from Trip Advisor reviews. It is truly worth a visit. An excellent menu prepared in a cozy quaint atmosphere. The chef took great pride in taste and presentation. While on-site, you must check out the rooming accommodations for future reference and stays.

Eddies might be a legendary burger shack but dont be mistaken, Crosswinds is truly the best resaturant in Geneva and probably all of Ashtabula County. We stayed at the Inn and ate 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners. And really enjoyed it. The winter squash soup was creamy and flavorful and the mussles in blue moon butter were some of the best i have had. Only disappointment was the duck which was somewhat gamey. Really enjoyed the upscale but not stuffy atmosphere and good wines. Staff and owners were very attentive and great. Thanks...looking forward to coming back!
