“Marble magic and romance”
Reviewed April 11, 2014

Beauty at its best ... A mesmerising one hour ride through the tranquil Narmada river makes you forget everything.. You are just lost in the beauty of the marble rocks glistening,,, different shades and the river ever so strong but flowing so quietly.. It's a sight to behold in your memoriy forever ,, no wonder songs like Ashoka movie- raat ka nasha was shot here, capturing the true ethereal beauty of the place.. The place is enchanting at dusk and magical in the moonlight ,.. We were lucky to be here at sundown, and enjoyed our magical ride and actually witnessed the changing colors of marble in the rays of the setting sun.. The guide was really humorous and lyrical.. Will never forget him..some people leave an imprint... There were small boys jumping from great heights from the marble into the river just to make some money,, as meagre as 5 rupees .. There is a market leading to the ghat.. It sells lovely souvenirs ,, the best ones being marble crafts.. Must buy ,, bargain though ,, this was well worth the money time and everything.. Beautiful sight etched in my memory forever ..

“Glistening white”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

Take a 50 minute ride through tranquil Narmada river to see these marble rocks from up close. The boat master doubles up as guide but ours tried to rhyme every sentence with the next one. Initially it was funny but soon it was irritating. You see different type of marbles with different colours. Also you see eddies in water and few birds like cormorant.

“Very Good Hotel...”
Reviewed March 30, 2014

We stayed in this hotel just for a day during March 14. Hotel location and view from the hotel is really very good. Staff is extra ordinary. Food is also very good.

“NATURE AT ITS BEST”
Reviewed March 26, 2014

One forgets that nature has its best hidden in places away from the most glamorous places and Bhedaghat is one such place . just 25 km from Jabalpur, Madhya pradesh
The great Narmada river meets this place through a\the ever beautiful Dhuandhar Falls - in its two parts due to the rocks dividing the water fall/. The rope way over rthe fall makes it even more beautiful. The row boat takes you through the river with marble rocks on your sides - making you forget yourself. The rowers are humble and full of humor and the ride is worth the money you pay.
Movie lovers can refer ASOKA - a Kareena starrer. and old movies - pran Jaaye per vachan na jaaye were shot here. Remember Raj kapoor's - o basanthi pavan paagal the eternal lata song?
