“Only place worth a visit in Jablpur”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

Boating in the river flowing between yellowish marble rocks is a welcome experience. although the place is flooded with lot of local tourists and children trying to sell ornaments and like stuff reduces the charm of this place. If you happen to be coming to jablpur to catch your flight, this place is good enough to be visited.

“Mesmerizing!”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

A beautiful part of the world which had never been to. This was my first visit to M.P. and was mesmerized to see the marble rocks and the water falls (also called Dhuandhar) at its very best. Dont forget to take the boating at the marble rocks (Panchvati) and rope-way at the waterfalls. You will find it worth every penny. Enjoy your vacations.

“waterfall known as Dhuandhar”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

which looks like smoke coming out of the river and therefore it got its name as "Dhuan(smoke)-dhar(flow of water)". Another major attraction which needs mention is 'Bandar Kodini', when one travels in between the marble rocks in a boat, the mountains at both the sides at one point come so close that the monkeys are able to jump across them, hence the name "Bandar Kodini". In a moonlit night, the travel between the marble rock mountains in a boat on the river Narmada is a heavenly site which should not be missed for anything.

The Narmada river ride amidst the marble rocks is an unique experience. Very peaceful, if u take a personal boat for urselves. It has to be experienced .late evenings n moonlit nights are best times.

“amazing experience!”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

Drifting down the emerald green Narmada, cliffs of white marble on either side is an incredible experience. I'd definitely recommend it to everyone! TIP: ask for a guide who can recite some poetry for you, some of the ghuides here are trained to conduct the boating expedition in verse and it is quite amusjng to listen to them!
