Its a above average hike to the falls. Even though this hike may look easier it does take some time before you reach the top of the falls. Once you reach you can enjoy the natural water pool. It can be cold depending on the season.
The steps are built age old days. It is slippery few places so be careful. You do see the falls in the natural form without any man intervention. So there is risk of slipping on its way depending on the season. Summer sun can be very hard so you got to be aware of it.
This place is remote so it does take more than half a day if you are starting from Madikeri. Either you start early morning or make it on your way back depending on how you plan your trip or else driving alone here can be exhausting.
I saw a lot of people trying to reach quickly and come down immediately. Hike this place only if you enjoy the falls with bit of hard work or else it may not feel worth while for a pic. :)
I also saw a lot of plastic bags were thrown around. Please be considerate about throwing anything non-biodegradable.
Coorg is about nature so I would recommend this hike/falls if you enjoy nature/hiking !!!
