A lot has been said and almost everything has been mentioned in the previous reviews which even I considered before booking this gem of a Hotel at Dalhousie. And I second everything positive said about this Hotel and might just be repeating a few views already expressed by many.
The best part is I felt was to get taste of both the old world charm through the huge and superbly maintained dining hall and elder half of the Hotel and also modernistic rooms with all the five star comfort you need in the new wing of the Hotel. The views from the rooms at the newer wing of the hotel that are luxury rooms and royal suites are indeed mesmerising. It was a delight to enjoy the morning coffee at the sit outs (balcony) with fresh clean air and breath taking views,
Coming down to meals and buffet arrangements. It was indeed lavish. Not exotic but lavish. Being a non-vegan I thoroughly enjoyed meat and chicken served along with the veggie options served. But both me and my year old son were bigger fans of the desserts. Very nice and huge spread both at breakfast and dinner. Dinner tasted better though if I must mention.
Lastly the most important aspect of our stay, service. We had an infant with us so we were a little demanding at times. But all our demands were met with a wide smile and affirmation which kept us joyous all the time. The owners too themselves make a constant effort to do best they can by being available to accept conplaints, feedbacks and suggestions. IN all the service was prmopt, exact and fabulous in all other aspects too.
PS : A special note of thanks to Balwant (service boy at dining hall) who made an extra effort to ensure we are comfortable and that we have all we need available to us in time throughout our stay.
