If you are planning to go to Dalhousie and you like to stay away from the crowd and noise of the city, you should just pick this place to stay with blind eyes. The location, mountain view, ambiance, food, service, bird chirping, night view.....everything at its best.
It is 2.5 km away from the Dalhousie main city centre (which almost has nothing great) so at times cabs are required but one can walk this distance too. Dalhousie primarily has Khajiyaar and Kala-Top as its tourist points and both of them cannot be missed. Apart from these, there is nothing much to see apart from old British churches.
The food at Peace Channels is so good that you feel like kissing the cook who makes it all. The caretakers are also very nice (Specially Mr. Suri) and ensure that you feel comfortable in the resort at all the times. The flower collection and greenery is at its best. They also have a great terrace which can also convert into a great party place for a large group. Almost everything is perfect at The Peace Channels except some bit of cleanliness, which is not so bad, but if they work on it a bit more, it will truly make it the best place to stay in Dalhousie.
