Stayed for 3 nights in April this year ,good resort ,walking distance to the beach through the pathway .
Buffet breakfast was sort of boring and same through out our stay .
Over expensive in house restaurant with very slow service ,
Good rooms with all amenities ,
Very good housekeeping staff
Definite a places to stay for you Havelock trip
Complimentary jetty transfer is good gesture.

Nice Hotel and pleasant stay. Bit expensive as compared to other hotels. Food (veg) was excellent. Room was clean and very near to beach. Worth staying for day or two during visit to havelock. Hospitality is good but room service is poor.

We visited the Andaman islands in October 2014 and stayed in Havelock for a couple of nights. We intentionally did not plan ahead and booked this hotel on the recommendation of our taxi driver in Port Blair. And boy did we get lucky!

The cottages are beautiful, modern, spacious and clean. The pictures uploaded by management really don't do it justice. I've uploaded photographs of our cottage and it's beautiful!

They include a complimentary breakfast. It's an a-la-carte breakfast but you may order as many items as you like. And everything on the menu is amazing! I had the best French toast ever! Even a year later, I still haven't found anything close to it.

The hotel also provides a free pick-up and drop to the ferry terminal in a shared shuttle.

The hotel is located on the Vijaynagar beach. And the beach is as picturesque as it can be. And it was almost completely empty. The Kala Pathhar beach is just two kilometres south of the hotel. And that beach is breathtaking. And again, even that beach was completely empty. We almost felt like it was our private beach!

The Radhanagar beach attracts all the crowd, but the Kala Pathhar beach is the most beautiful.

The hotel provides various activites, including a full day fishing trip. And you can have your catch cooked at the restaurant for dinner.

Andaman Bubbles, a scuba diving school, is right adjacent to the hotel. They have professionally certified scuba instructors and they give a discount to hotel guests. I really recommend them.

All in all, this is probably the finest hotel in Havelock at a very reasonable price.

Room Tip: Get the Style cottage

The AC room we had was on the 1st floor and it had a sea view at a distance. The prettiest room in the property, very cosy, spacious and a had a cute sit out. Loved watching the rains from the sit out balcony. We had an excellent 3 days stay here. The beach is a 1 min. walk from the room. The resort has a beautiful restaurant though we did not like the food much. You may consider outside eating options near the market.

The staff was good, particularly Amit who helped us get contact lenses arranged from port blair since there were no optical stores in the island. I needed them to be able to snorkell or go scuba diving and had forgotten to get them.

They also got the ferry tickets arranged without any hassle. A really good option to stay in havelock if you visit.

Room Tip: There are 2 corner rooms on the 1st floor. They have the best view and really spacious.

The "Style cottage" was strictly okay. Clean, albeit a bit dark. Not much to rave about. The restaurant, however, served great food. The breakfast buffet had limited variety but whatever was served tasted excellent. Same for the other meals. Their paneer tikka and deserts ended up being our favorites. The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk away from a reasonably clean beach with warm, turquoise waters! We made sure we were up for the brilliant sunrises each morning.

It is walking distance to many other good restaurants. Alternatively, one could rent a bicycle or a scooter from a shop (more of a ramshackle hut) right opposite the hotel.

The only disappointment was a recommended snorkeling trip where all six of us were supposed to share a single snorkeler while snorkeling in turns!! I guess the cheap snorkeling rate should have ticked us off to the fact that it was too good to be true. In retrospect, we should have planned such activities well in advance rather than depending on some last minute suggestions.
