“Fresh, Lovely Porch Setting, Nice Staff”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

We stayed at the Kenyon Inn so naturally ate here as well. Had we known the bar in the lobby was so nice we would have hung out there a bit before dinner, but seeing as there seemed to be only one waiter, that might have stretched the staff.

Our salads were fresh, the wine was reasonably priced, the menu had variety, the cheesecake and creme brulee were tasty and nice portions, and the waiter was very accommodating and friendly.

We liked the casual atmosphere (jeans or shorts are fine for dinner) and the well-prepared food and would highly recommend making reservations to sit outside (weather permitting, of course).

“Classiest place around....”
Reviewed June 14, 2013

Great food and atmosphere. It's the most "high end" restaurant you will find around. Good food and service. Just be sure to have reservations.

“Perfect for "After Church next door"”

Wonderful menu, very clean, very well served, no surprises, many choices, returning again and again! And then there is the beauty of Kenyon College grounds!

“Cosy Spot”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

This is a great place for Sunday Brunch; in the summer there's live music with barbeque on the lawn; but the very best is on a snowy night when the cosy ambiance is just what the doctor ordered.

“Sunday Brunch”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

This was our second time having brunch at the Kenyon Inn and Restaurant. The first time was a four star experience. Once again we were seated on time (reservations are highly recommended).

I again chose the pancakes de jour and was extremely pleased. I asked for crispy bacon on the side and it was done to perfection.

My son chose the breakfast ruben. It was a winner during our previous dining experience. This time the meat was touch and impossible for him to chew without pulling a large amount of the corn beef out. Our attentive waitress was immediately there and quickly returned it to the kitchen. He was quite pleased with the pancakes that he choose as a replacement.

My wife choose the breakfast steak sandwich. She felt it was very tasty but the steak was a little tough.

I would rate my first experience of a Sunday brunch there a few months ago 5/5 but this time there was one large disappointment and one smaller one.

This experience however, will not stop me from dining there in the future.
