Horrible dirty cheap
Will never stay here again, couldnt lock our door, toilet was dirty, bed was hard as a rock, booked online and when webarrived and got to the room webrecieved wrong room (booked a queen bed got 2 doubles) and called prior to arrival to book second night and they didnt have it in the system.
This is an OLD motel and could use some attention in the common areas. However -- and this is a big however-- the guest rooms have recently been redone and are clean and comfortable. We were expecting a queen bed and were pleasantly surprised at the king in the room. Flat-screened TV. In-room coffee and fridge. Shower is a bit quirky, but very functional. Can't beat the price, either. If you have an AARP card, use it here! All in all, a serviceable room for a comfortable night's sleep.
We recently stayed here in May and we found the room to be comfortable, clean, and with all amenities provided including microwave, fridge, flat screen tv, and the A/C worked well. For such a good price and friendly manager, I would recommend this to friends for their stay. The bed sheets were clean and towels were freshly laundered. The bed was comfortable. I did not notice any smell as prior reviewers had mentioned. The breakfast could be improved upon but otherwise had a pleasant stay. I would advice future guests that if they need anything, they should ask the front desk as they were very cooperative.
I've stayed at this motel a few times in the last four years or so because it's about the cheapest in the area that can be reserved online. This latest stay found the room updated with a new flatscreen TV and apparently updated furnishings. The room and building still shows its age but the bed was comfortable and the manager on duty when I checked in was very pleasant.
The free wifi was able to stream Hulu, ice machine worked, bathroom was clean. I didn't use the nice sized refrigerator in the room, and some might find the noise it made bothersome.
The continental breakfast had coffee, juice, milk, cold cereal, packaged muffins and rolls, bagels, and bananas. Definitely enough to allow me to skip a real breakfast.
