“Worth the Detour to Findlay!”
Reviewed August 25, 2014

When traveling on Rt 75, take the detour to Findlay, OH for Dietsch Brothers ice cream and chocolates. This is an old fashioned ice cream store with generous portions. I got the kids cone and it was more than enough, but if you are a huge ice cream fan, they can take care of that too. Dietsch Brothers also has a chocolate shop where you can indulge that craving, too.

Great place to go if you are ever in Findlay. They are getting a ton of national recognition! The Strawberry Milkshake is a definite go to!

“Did Someone Say Delightful”
Reviewed August 17, 2014 via mobile

A special ice cream flavor for this month was "salted caramel" ... I had a sundae with this featured ice cream with caramel sauce, nuts, and whipped cream ... UNBELIEVABLY GOOD ... My wife had a bittersweet chocolate malt, which was another taste treat ... You will not be disappointed!

“Ice Cream for What Ails You”
Reviewed August 6, 2014 via mobile

Dietsch Brothers is a perfect, sweet slice of Americana. This very well kept and traditional family shop serves up fantastic candy and ice cream concoctions to brighten up even the cloudiest day. My daughter and I had hot fudge sundaes that couldn't have been better, and the incredible happy crowd added to the experience. Keep an eye on their schedule though! Saturday night and we barely made their 9pm close. By the looks of the line when the doors shut I have no doubt they could stay (profitably) open til 11pm at least!

“Real Spoons!”
Reviewed August 5, 2014

The ice cream was wonderful ~ creamy and delicious! We were offered water in glassware and were given real spoons rather than plastic. The ice cream experience was SO MUCH better without the taste of a plastic spoon in my mouth. We looked all over for a place to stack our dishes etc., but we were told they clean the tables too!!
