“Best Homemade Icecream”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

This is a family owned place that has been in business for generations. We have 3 generations of family who have grown up eating Dietsch ice cream. I haven't found ice cream in all of my travels across the USA that beats Dietsch's. The price for a cone is very reasonable...cheaper in price than most places that serve a lesser quality. A trip to Dietsch's is alway requested by friends and family visiting Findlay. They offer seasonal flavors of icecream... pumpkin icecream in the fall is a "must try". You will find a wonderful selection of homemade chocolate covered candy that's hard to pass up. I strongly advise buying a "chocolate crunch bar". This is the best of both worlds. You get Dietsch's creamy, rich, vanilla ice cream generously dipped in thick crunchy chocolate. A great combination and cheap...under $2.00. I serve crunch bars at parties & family gatherings, which are the HIT of the party! Don't pass up a visit !

“Very good ice cream, great price.”
Reviewed August 19, 2012 via mobile

We stopped there while on our way home to Michigan, and are glad we did. The banana split was quite large, they have very good ice cream at very reasonable prices. It was a nice place to stop, and a much needed break from highway driving.

“Local Gem”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

Home town family making chocolates and ice cream for many years. A local "must do" if you are ever passing by. The downtown location has a true "old time ice cream parlor" feel. VERY popular location. Chocolates are wonderfully made as well. Can't go wrong with any of their selections!

“Great local shop....”
Reviewed August 2, 2012

Wife grew up in Findlay and I have enjoyed their offerings, especially their milkshakes during our many visits to the area. We were going through town on our way farther north to a family reunion and stopped to let our boys try Dietsch's ice cream. I had not been here in over six years (we moved back south to the South Carolina) so in the interest in full disclosure, I was really glad that we stoppe, also.

Everyone was pleased by their selections. The 2 average ratings on here are a joke. This place is great. Milk shakes all around for us. Both locations are great.
