Aullwood Gardens MetroPark is a beautiful wooded area for a walk in nature. It also has a farm area which is a fun visit with my granddaughters. Keep a watch for programs they offer which may interest you.

If you missed this, it was a wonderful full event. It happens the first Sunday evening in December. About 1,000 milk jugs with candles light your way from the parking lot to the house. In the house you can meet Santa and then enjoy hot chocolate & cookies by the fires pits outside. A nice way to spend Sunday evening.

We went for a walk along the hiking trail. The best part was the wood shelter near the lake. A perfect place to take pictures of wildlife. A great place to take children for a view of Mother Nature.
