This Econo Lodge has a kind of backroad location near a power grid so coming up to it you feel a bit apprehensive. But the front desk was cheerful, manned by young helpful folk. Rooms are motor court style (you can drive up to the door of your room). There are five separate buildings. Rooms are in need of a makeover but are clean. No hairdryers or irons for this budget price but you can get them free from the front desk. A cotntinental breakfast is included in price: doughnuts, muffins, raisin bran, bagels, english muffins, oranges, apples, coffee, tea.

While the hotel is a little tricky to get to off of Lorain Blvd, it is very clean and comfortable. The staff is pleasant, although check-in is a bit lengthy as they have to make a copy of your drivers license. After getting a good night's sleep, we woke up in the morning to find a free local newspaper delivered to our door. In addition, there were free doughnuts and coffee in the vending area off the lobby. There were a few minor things in the room that needed some attention, such as the ceiling and wallpaper peeling in a few places. Given that it was the least expensive motel that we could find in the area, we were impressed.
