Sojourner's Lodge & Log Cabin Suites
Reviewed March 9, 2014

We stayed two nights to celebrate my wife's birthday. The rooms were nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The owners were extremely nice. It was one bedroom with a living room with a fireplace, kitchen and large bath with a two person jacuzzi. The lodge was well off the road, very quite and beautiful scenery. It was too cold to enjoy the lake and the hiking trails they offered. Everything was as described and very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend you staying here.

My wife stayed at the Sojourner's Lodge & Log Cabin Suites last summer and raved about the gorgeous surroundings and peaceful setting. She suggested spending New Year's Eve there for a quiet change-of-pace.

We asked another couple to join us for fun and fellowship, playing board games and sharing in some sparkling grape juice to toast the new year.

When we arrived, we were greeted by a wonderful receptionist with a friendly personality. She even accommodated my request for an early check-in when I called the day-before - no extra charge!

The cabin was amazing - very charming and warmed by a fireplace with instant-on capabilities (see photo). The view of the lake was awesome although we chose to stay indoors. They even offer video rentals for a dollar.

Although this was the most laid-back New Year's Eve we've ever celebrated, it may be the most memorable as we kicked off 2014 with great friends and a relaxing evening.

I look forward to returning in warmer seasons where we can explore the grounds and get closer to nature.

I made a last minute plan and they were helpful and accommodating. The suites are very well appointed and spotless clean! Even in the grey overcast weather the property is beautiful. With a great patio and firepit overlooking the large pond it makes for a relaxing chill spot.Gwen was amazingly helpful with directions and local information. The property is just a stones throw away from Millersburg, Winesburg and Berlin. I'll surely go back again!

This was our third stay here. Don't let "lodge" throw you off.. no ski slope, no golf course. Just peace and quiet in a beautiful Amish countryside. The suites are magnificent,, all natural wood with living room, dining room, kitchen and most have two bedrooms. The suites and grounds are kept amazingly clean and neat. This was our first stay in cold weather, so we got to use the gas fireplace.. puts out a lot of heat and looks very nice. Fireplace is also electric so it can be used in warmer weather but the gas fire looks nicer. There's a pond (no swimming) and a hiking trail through the woods. The Millers (owners) are very pleasant and very helpful.

Room Tip: Lodge suite #204 is our first choice. It's the only suite where you have to lug your stuff up an...

Stayed here for a long weekend. Mostly to avoid the long drive to Hocking Hills. It was excellent. Very relaxing, nice walking trails on the property. Amish country within a short drive. Private, and very well kept and clean.

Room Tip: Don't be scared off the by staying in the lodge vs. a cabin. The lodge rooms are very quiet and...

We stayed here for two nights and the room and amenities were very nice. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin unit. It had two queen bedrooms, a very large bathroom with a sizable shower and a large whirlpool bath - great! The place had a nice sized living room with gas fireplace, flatscreen tv, and a nice dining table. The kitchen was also nice and well equipped. The only oddity was the lack of an oven. But, no big deal. Overall this was a great stay in a great place....quiet and comfortable to the max.
