My family was in Columbus for a softball tournament and a few of us went into Dublin one evening and stopped at this Tavern! Great food, great service. Would visit again!

Well worn and comfortable, the DVT sits in attractive downtown Dublin. Great selection of food and draft beer, and extensive whiskey list, including my favorite Rebreast 15 year old.

Menu has lots of pub-comfort foods. Food was prepared well and quickly. I had a great hamburger, and the selections all around me looked good as well.

I like to sit at the bar when I dine solo. I got the right amount of attention, even though I was in a sea of apparent regulars. The mark of a good place is that feeling of welcome and belonging that you get. They have specials every night, with an under-$4 pint of beer. You can't beat that.

It's often crowded, so be prepared to wait.

Thank Sam S

We were lucky to sit outside on a lovely day. The fried pickles were great. We also enjoyed the steak sandwich. I was delighted to see a corn dorg on the menu and it was delicious. Service was wonderful. Great variety in the menu. I was just surprised that there were no traditional Irish dishes on the menu. But we really enjoyed this place and will return.

I never would have gone here, without a reason to. Fortunately, my co-worker works here and suggested it to me. Yesterday after I work, I decided to order food for a late lunch. I wasn't sure about the atmosphere so I ordered blackened tilapia and sauteed vegetables to go. As I pulled up, I noticed that they had a patio. I thought, "I should have stayed." At any rate, I picked up my food and started chowing on my food in the car. OMG, the blackened fish was amazing and the vegetables were a pleasant surprise. I had to find out how they were prepared-o.j. and balsamic vinegar. What a great pair! I wanted more, even though I was full. I decided not to over eat, but I wanted to go again today, but they weren't open yet. I can't wait to have them again...real soon!
