We just stayed here for a night this past weekend, and it was lovely! We booked one of the updated suites, which was beautiful! The full kitchen was the main reason I booked this hotel because it was my fiancé's birthday and I wanted us to be able to enjoy a night cooking dinner together. It had all the appliances necessary to cook including utensils, plates, pots/pans, etc. Wouldn't even had needed to bring my own! The room was clean and had everything you would need for your stay. It was very well updated, including a barn door to the bedroom and super nice countertops in the bathroom/kitchen. The hot tub, heated pool, and outdoor fire pit was very adequate, maybe just a little tiny. The staff was extremely helpful and quick to fix any problems. The continental breakfast buffet was a little cold, but we aren't that picky, so it was okay. All in all, we would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here again in the future for our small, weekend getaways!

Upon arriving Sara the girl that checked us in was amazing! Parking lot was so full of what seemed to be construction vans and trucks so the parking lot was full and we couldn’t park anywhere close to our suite. The pool was nice. The main lobby was beautiful.

They appear to still be remodeling, but I would not stay here again. It appears to be mixed with long term rentals with some unsavory people. The long term guests seemed to have “guests” on the weekends using the amenities like the pool. We had to save a kid from drowning in the pool and their parents were not there.

The rooms are not kept up, holes in the carpet, power outlets get very hot to the touch when charging the phone, spotty internet, kitchen is very outdated, and out fireplace doors were falling off the hinges.

As much as this is an “affiliated” Columbus Zoo hotel I would not recommend this for families.

This is our second time staying at this location. Last year when we stayed, they were remodeling so the parking lot was full of large containers taking up the majority of the parking lot. This year, we returned and the same containers were there forcing many people to park off property. While we could tell some of the room had been recently remodeled, quite a bit was not done. There was some new carpet, a new couch and chair and the beds seem new. In the kitchen, the bar and cupboards were new. However, the fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave were still quite old. The stove did not work well and when we used it the smell was so bad we had to open to the door. The dishwasher was not bolted properly in so when you opened it you had to be careful not to tip it over. There was also a wheel missing making it difficult to pull out the draw.

The beds were very comfortable and the staff pleasant. The pool area was very nice and it was actually heated. Breakfast was delicious.

It was a mix of very nice upgrades with things that weren't touch. Parking was a huge pain especially with all of the construction containers around that had been there for a minimum of a year. Location was excellent!
