Recently stayed for 3 nights and hope to visit again in the near future. Allen and Joy are excellent hosts. They made us feel so welcome. They were great about providing vegetarian breakfasts for one of our group. Excellent breakfasts every day ands different dishes every morning!! The breakfasts were so big we found ourselves having a late lunch and not even eating dinner each day. Beautiful setting at the top of the hill. Very comfortable beds and very clean. Highly recommend!!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Steamwheeler room which worked out great for the three of us. There were 3 queen sized beds, one was a sofa bed and it was equally as comfortable as the 2 regular queen beds. Lots of space.

We had a great weekend rendezvous with good friends from Cincinnati. The Inn at Dresden provided the perfect place to sit around a fireplace in the spacious rooms and catch up -- then, when the weather cleared, to tour the Longaberger Homestead, wander the shops in Dresden, and take a Sunday hike on a great hiking/biking trail along the Muskingum River. Allen and Joy were wonderful hosts - friendly, warm, responsive to needs, and glad to provide history and recommendations for the area and things to do. The Inn maintains the detail and quality that Dave Longaberger built into it -- all-in-all a comfortable, accommodating, plush location to de-stress and relax...and the last one of the Ohio Inns in the Select Registry for us to visit!

Room Tip: Rooms vary based on configuration to suit needs -- "City Lights" provides fabulous views, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a great wrap around covered deck...

Thank you for your kind words. Now that you have completed your circuit of the Select Registry Inns in Ohio I suggest you start again and reverse the order. This time, we would love to be first..

The pictures on their web site don't do justice to the HUGE impressive rooms and magnificent views!
Very expensive and plush decor abounds throughout this inn and it truely is an amazing experience!
And Joy and Allen are simply the greatest hosts one could imagine!
They bend over backwards to accomodate any and all your needs and I thoroughly LOVED talking with them and sharing a good laugh!
Joy is an EXCELLENT chef and the meals are very good and the atmosphere is amazing!
The entire property is so beautiful with all the landscaping and decor it's simply not possible to convey it in a photograph!
The only regret I had was that I couldn't stay longer but I WILL return as soon and as often as I can!

Thank you Joy and Allen for the greatest weekend getaway we have ever had!

Proximity to the basket company would be your incentive to stay here. Owners were very kind, trusting and hospitable with a sincere wish to please.

Food was usual b&b rich but not the best. Eg fruit salad included banana, canned peaches, grapes and a bit of apple. Orange juice not fresh squeezed. Quiche, french toast.

Our room was dated with lots of carpeting and upholstery. Missing , thankfully, was potpourri. Also, plumbing from another room was very loud so we had to wait until before midnight when, I guess a neighbor was done showering, in order for us to get to sleep.

Located atop the mountain it has a beautiful view.

Our room was very spacious but overpriced. Perhaps they can demand the price on a day that the factory tour is open and hotels might be booked?

I am sorry that you were not completely satisfied. We are learning and getting better. Fresh squeezed orange juice now, for example. Please give us another try. Allen

We decided to combine a trip to the Inn with visiting the Longaberger Homestead. We have always stayed at motels in the area on past trips. This was a special treat for us and we were very pleased. If you are looking for a luxurious stay for a affordable price this is the place. Joy is an amazing cook so definitely consider the 4 course dinner. Appetizers with wine or dessert and coffee was a special treat included in the package.

Room Tip: Higher room have better view, lower easier access from parking, stairs could be an issue for some.

Thank you for staying with us John. You are right about the stairs. This place is built on a hill and everything, except the handicapped adaptable room , is either up or down. Regards, Allen
