Proximity to the basket company would be your incentive to stay here. Owners were very kind, trusting and hospitable with a sincere wish to please.

Food was usual b&b rich but not the best. Eg fruit salad included banana, canned peaches, grapes and a bit of apple. Orange juice not fresh squeezed. Quiche, french toast.

Our room was dated with lots of carpeting and upholstery. Missing , thankfully, was potpourri. Also, plumbing from another room was very loud so we had to wait until before midnight when, I guess a neighbor was done showering, in order for us to get to sleep.

Located atop the mountain it has a beautiful view.

Our room was very spacious but overpriced. Perhaps they can demand the price on a day that the factory tour is open and hotels might be booked?

I am sorry that you were not completely satisfied. We are learning and getting better. Fresh squeezed orange juice now, for example. Please give us another try. Allen

We decided to combine a trip to the Inn with visiting the Longaberger Homestead. We have always stayed at motels in the area on past trips. This was a special treat for us and we were very pleased. If you are looking for a luxurious stay for a affordable price this is the place. Joy is an amazing cook so definitely consider the 4 course dinner. Appetizers with wine or dessert and coffee was a special treat included in the package.

Room Tip: Higher room have better view, lower easier access from parking, stairs could be an issue for some.

Thank you for staying with us John. You are right about the stairs. This place is built on a hill and everything, except the handicapped adaptable room , is either up or down. Regards, Allen

Up a steep hill to the converted home of Dave Longerberger, this house now has nine incredible guest suites. Ours was the simplest as we were just in and out. The hosts are warm and friendly, the was perfect and the price right. The hostess gave us a tour of the building with some incredible suites. One would not want to leave. This is a destination Inn.

The view from the breakfast area overlooks the entire valley looking North. The view is almost a full 180 degrees.

A must if you are anywhere close

We have stayed at the Inn several times. It is always like visiting family. Joy and Allen are wonderful hosts. You don't feel like you are staying in a B & B. I especially enjoyed playing the grand piano. I will be coming back and staying again. The food and rooms are excellent! I would recommend the Inn to anyone.

My family and I (group of 4) stayed at "The Inn at Dresden" for 2 nights and it was, indeed, a wonderful experience. Both Allen and Joy were so gracious to tour us around the city and Longaberger Estate. The rooms were super clean and the breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked. My daughter was serenaded with violin on her birthday during one of our dinner. Our stay in The Inn is a memorable experience. We will definitely go back and stay there soon, not to mention, we will bring more families and friends. I can attest that you will feel at home at The Inn at Dresden -- A Home away from Home.
