This place is a gem! It is set in the beautiful hills of Tuscarawas County & offers a magnificent selection of wines. I visited with a friend who believes it rivals some of her favorite California wineries! You can also grab lunch! They offer delicious wood fired pizzas & heavenly gourmet salads! You can walk to another winery/cheesehouse while here! Well worth the stop!

We drove 3 hours just to re-visit Breitenbach Winery. Brought along another couple and made a weekend out of it.

Really good wine and reasonable prices. We brought home a full case. We were able to enjoy some of their great pizza this time as well.

They had a solo guitar player/singer over in the barn when we were there and surprisingly, weather in Ohio.... in January,,,,,,allowed for the door to even be open!

Nice place, great view, great service!

We will be back :0)

Outstanding winery experience. Breitenbach has wonn over 500 awards for its wines. During our visit, my wife and I sampled 12 different wines, everyone was awesome. Our favorite was Frost Fire (probably my new #1 favorite). We stayed and had lunch at the cafe accompanied by a bottle of Frost Fire, while enjoying the view of the grounds. We also took a bottle home with some chocolates. This was definitely our top winery experience. We can't wait to return.

We spent almost two hours at Breitenbach, with a tour of the production facility and wine cellars as well as a wine tasting -- and only wish that we could have taken more time. Although the lines were long for the wine tasting (at 25 cents per sample or $4 per glass), it was worth it -- we tasted eight wines, and brought home three bottles. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and the grounds, buildings, and scenery are beautiful. Although we didn't sample it, food was available in the cafe and at a BBQ shack out back, and live music on the patio for most of the day.
