“Worth a drive from Columbus!”
Reviewed November 8, 2013

Have been here several times, and keep returning for the wonderful craft beer selection, friendly staff, and even better food. Have tried several menu items on our visits, and every one has exceeded expectations. We like the variety, they add new menu items regularly and have evening specials as well. Have had some wonderful and innovative soups, great salads, nice burgers and seafood. We will continue to return to this gem.

“Good food and nice ambiance”
Reviewed October 29, 2013 via mobile

Really enjoyed the food. Soup, sandwiches and salad. We were apprehensive because the place was not listed on my IPhone. Very glad we tried it.

“Great place in downtown”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

I have been to 1808 about 3 or 4 times in the last 6 months. Each time there I have had a really good meal and a pleasurable dining experience. It is located right across from and old historic theater right off of the main street. I have ordered a number of dishes and the salmon is my favorite. They have a very good beer selection and a martini special for $5 during the weekday happy hour.

“A Nice Surprise”
Reviewed October 22, 2013 via mobile

Went there to celebrate a relative's birthday based on my father-in-law's recommendation. Had a tasty beet salad, but it had more goat cheese than beets. For the entree, had an incredibly tender filet, about 2.5 " thick. Cut it with a butter knife tender! Dessert was an apple crisp with ricotta, big enough for 2. Service was good and friendly, nice atmosphere. Great micro-beer selection! Definitely would return for more meals.

“Very nice!”
Reviewed October 21, 2013

I recently visited Delaware after being away for several years. I was surprised there was a restaurant of this caliber now operating there. I thought the service was top notch. My meal was good, and the atmosphere was fantastic, although a bit noisy.
