“great concert venue”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

season lawn ticket holder for the past 4 years. What a great evening with friends, food, wine and awesome symphony music. I have been to Chicago's Ravinia several times and it doesn't hold a candle to our Blossom. You should know if you attend rock concerts you get a different crowd and should expect all of the "ambiance" that goes with that type of concert. Try the symphony crowd- lots of children/babies but all well behaved. Wonderful way to expose kids to some great music.

“Listen to this..........”
Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

Get to the lawn seats very early. Not bad for the price. Bring some wine and cheese and good company. Be aware that somebody may sit in front of you even if you think you have a good spot. But that's okay. There's not really a bad seat in the house. Or outside the house for that matter. Plus you there more to listen than look. Our situation was with children's trying to watch a Pixar review. The orchestra did a great job. Children were still able to see the screens. Weather was great. Fireworks were totally awesome. Bring good chairs or blankets. Beware if you have a higher chair, you may be asked to sit more in the middle or back of the lawn section. If you are from out-of-town, the access is somewhat difficult. Getting out however was not too bad--- follow everyone else. People in the crowd were generally nice. Restrooms were satisfactory. If you wanted to purchase something, you can expect a top price which is not unusual. Go and have fun. It's worth it.

“Still one of the best!”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

From the beginning, carved out of a natural amphitheater, Blossom was one of the best outdoor concert venues in the country. It still is. Cleveland claims it, but it is really Akron's gem.

“Doesn't make sense.”

Surrounded by drunk people who continued to drink (sloppily) and scream/sing off-key while standing and dancing in front of us at the Maroon 5 concert last night, my friend was apprehended for using an Ecigarette in the pavillion! Priorities! Dear Blossom Music Center Security: Thanks for your consideration. (Rolling eyes)

“Oh Blossom Concerts”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

I went for the Goo Goo Dolls/ Match Box 20 concert. Good atmosphere, especially when it's nice out. You can really hear what's going on, no matter where you're at. Bring you're own food and eat outside before you enter, because it costs an arm and a leg. The closer you get to start time, the farther out you have to park (at least it was free). I had to leave early, so I didn't have to deal with traffic issues.

The crowd was split between an older and younger crowd and the two 40 somethings in front of me couldn't get the hint to go with the crowd around them (which meant sit the eff down every once and awhile). Good time otherwise
