“Quick and reasonable”
Reviewed December 26, 2012

Food was good and service was quick. Prices not too bad. Seating a bit awkward and the wide open atmosphere made for a bit more noise than I like, but it would be great for families with kids.

“Nice small town restaurant”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

The Sport Zone is a small restaurant in Coshocton, OH with an Americana style menu. Anything from burgers, pretzels, wings, and pasta is on the menu. I was traveling on business and an associate of mine and I dined in. I had the Sport Zone burger and it was cooked to my liking and the fires were hot and thick slices. Service was prompt and accurate and they did a good job overall.

The atmosphere is family friendly and has a Quaker Steak and Lube vibe to it. Parking was easy and available, and doesn't look like it would ever be to full to find a seat. Positive they do not take reservations unless you have a party coming in.

Not bad and will probably be back next time in town.

“A nice place for lunch”
Reviewed June 8, 2012

While in Coshocton for a visit with relatives, my cousin and I attended Memorial Day festivities on Main Street around the corner from the Sport Zone. After the parade and services, we headed to the Sport Zone for lunch. It was a very hot and muggy day, and the air conditioning in the restaurant was working well and a welcome relief. Our server was prompt, courteous, and speedy. The food was plentifull and tasty, for not a lot of money.

“Eat the Young”
Reviewed May 19, 2012 via mobile

Ive been frquenting the SportsZone since its opening years ago but havent been in recently as usual. I came in tonight with my 12 year old daughter for a Daddy / Daughter dinner date before going to a movie. Im a Firefighter and work 36 hours at a time so we rarely have much time to just go hang out. We came in and found there to be little traffic for a 5 pm hour. Was seated right away by a new hostess and new waiter followed up quickly with starter drinks etc. Ihave to say that the food was excellent as usual. I had the Ribeye steak and baked potatoe, salad, wings, pretzel bites....she had a build your own burger. All cooked to request. The only thing that was lacking was the obvious attentiveness of the rest of the young staff. Having a good time at work for a young person is important but needs mature supervision to keep them from herding together and being too loud. At times i found the kitchen staff and floor staff staring from the kitchen window and being loud enough to thoroughly annoy. All in all we had an enjoyable experience but if i were back in the resturant mgt id have split the kids up and kept them upbeat but proactive instead of slacking and trying to impress each other by loud jokes and antics.....on the fence on the visit....again food is great though.
