This is a super charming place in a wonderful location. We stayed three nights and had a beautiful clean and comfortable room that made it easy to relax. The breakfasts were delicious. It is not ideal to be in Columbus in January when the wind chill is in the single digits but it was nice not to have to go far to go to a nice restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.

It's hard to get excited about Columbus in January. So we thank you for such a wonderful review. We hope you return when the weather is good. Columbus is amazing in Spring and Summer. And the Short North Arts District just glows. We will see you soon,

If you are looking for a quiet getaway that is just 2 blocks from the action on High Street, then this B & B is the place to go. Priced below even Hamptons & Courtyards, you even get a home-cooked hot breakfast that will keep you full thru lunch. We stayed the first weekend of December when the Holiday Gallery Walk was going on in the Short North section. Just a 2 minute walk and we were amid all the action. Restaurants, clothing stores, art galleries, and great people-watching make this area a nice haven from the big box corporate sections of the city. And you even get free off-street parking that would cost you $20-40/day at regular downtown hotels. Trelene, the manager, makes a wonderful full breakfast with fruit, a hot entree, coffee and juice. We had breakfast then sat in the cozy parlor to plan out our day. I would recommend this inn to anyone who is on business (5mins to downtown) or visiting someone at OSU (campus 5 minute ride) or just a weekend getaway.

Room Tip: Any 2nd floor room is nice, probably the rooms in the back of the hotel would be the quietest.

Thank you so much. There's no place like The Short North the first Saturday of each month. And the Holiday Hop in December is even more amazing. We hope to see you soon on a return visit.

Any time I have to go to the Columbus Convention Center for a conference or am in Columbus for a race, I stay at the 50 Lincoln to avoid the whole hotel scene.

Granted, you aren't going to have a bar to pay $10 a beer, but you will have a beautiful room in an old Victorian house right in the middle of the Short North Scene! If you aren't familiar with the Short North, it is the art district, if you will, chock full of great restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and little bars.

It is only a three block walk from the north entrance of the convention center and, though a little longer walk to the Statehouse, for a runner it is an easy way to warm up prior to a marathon.

Best part of staying at the 50 Lincoln is breakfast! For less than a sterile hotel room, you get an awesome home-cooked breakfast - not an apple and a bagel, but incredible real breakfast in a beautiful setting.

Also, the first Saturday of each month is the gallery hop - a fun time to wander around the Short North with several thousand other people having drinks and checking out the art scene. The problem with the gallery hop is parking - not enough of it. By staying at the 50 Lincoln, you have a guaranteed parking spot, a nearby place to go and drop off purchases, and a nice little patio to have a glass of wine afterward.

Do yourself a favor and skip the downtown hotel crowd and go stay at the 50 Lincoln!

Room Tip: Rooms on the third floor tend to be warmer and there are a couple that sport a more "masculine...

Can''t say enough good things out the staff & property of this B&B nestled within the trendy Short North area of Columbus.
We rented the whole building for a business retreat And it was totally awesome ! The staff made the planning of the event simple & seamlless from the first inquiry phone call until the departure of last guest..
There is ample free parking for 10 cars right off the well groomed back yard with it's garden swing, out door cafe set and angel statue,
Inside houses seven bright, clean and impeccably appointed guest rooms, some with two beds,
The parlor and a hardwood floor crystal dining room transport you back 200 years .
The guest will find all the elegance & charm of a bygone time expertly combined with all the modern conveniences we have come to expect - A/C, free WiFi.
Unexpected freebies greet welcome the guest as well -An overly well supplied coffee cart and tea service is found in a nice sized guest kitchen.
The breakfast was ample with accommodation for all our dietary observances.
In the little things which make a big difference and who is phrases are seldom sung, each room's private bathroom was well supplied an absolute the sparkling clean.
Kudos to all the staff at 50 lincoln short north bed and breakfast.

Room Tip: There are no "bad" rooms

We stayed two nights at this bed and breakfast. The location is perfect if you want to walk to the arts district. It was clean, breakfast delicious, the hostess hospitable and friendly. I needed coffee at 5 a.m. both mornings and the hostess was glad to accomodate me. Breakfast was timely, homemade, and tasty, but if you want something different, she is glad to make it for you. Dining area nice. Parking is tight but it seems to work out well. Internet reception was strong. It is an old home but comfortable and remodeled nicely.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 1 - sleeping area and bathroom were fine but a bit small. Television was not flat...

Stayed here only 1 night on a Thursday - we were in town for a concert - location was perfect and just a short drive from the venue (at Lifestyles Community Pavilion) - parking was on site behind house which was nice - love the Short North area so this was a great location - within walking distance there's lots to do - checkin is easy - we never did meet the owners and aren't quite sure if they are around there much - never did get to meet the highly-spoken of Trelene but the woman who was there - Sharon - was very friendly and awfully sweet - breakfast was good nothing too fancy - cinnamon french toast with bacon or sausage - your choice - fresh fruit with cream, coffee & orange or cranberry juice. Not a stuffy feel at all to this place, and no classical music playing in the background during breakfast hours. Upon checkin you are given a card to fill out where you indicate which time you'd like to eat - just leave it on the table in kitchen - Neat place to stay in the city. There's a sitting room off the dining room which we never utilized, but did notice there are books and games available to the guests - We did sit on the patio a few times and that was nice when there was a breeze occasionally - it was pretty hot this week! We were on the 2nd floor - room 2 - nice room very comfortable and roomy and the bed was very comfortable too. Private bathroom with tub & shower, i feel though that people "of size" might have a difficult time with the bathroom as the toilet is in a pretty small space but that wasn't a concern for me or my husband. Next time we travel to C-bus, if we need a place to stay we will definitely come back! I would recommend that you bring bottled water with you (or whatever beverages you'd like to have) - you can keep them in the guest fridge in the kitchen.

We stayed at the B&B for C-Bus Pride this past weekend for a second time, and it was so comfortable and accomodating. The Bed & Breakfast is a short walk from bars, restaurants, and shopping-about a 500 feet walk! Trelene the manager was very sweet, and the breakfasts were tasty. They have a guest fridge in which you can help yourself to the wine, or store a bit of food in. Room was clean and cozy.

Room Tip: Third floor rooms are very quiet, but if you have alot of luggage, it's a haul.
