Unless you know about this place, you will not find it, until you stumble upon it. So, let me guide you! lol This place is tucked away in an alley, right off of 3rd street but, before E. Broad Street. I'm almost sure this is a "mom and pop" shop and that's what makes this place attractive.
There are clearly both "regulars" and "newbies" that eat here. You can tell when the cooks, servers and owner yells out a familiar name.
Breakfast is served all day....and I think lunch is too. At any rate, I love breakfast, so that's what I wanted. I recall coming to this place some fifteen years ago, and was happy to learn, the recession didn't take this neighborhood staple out. The prices are affordable and can accommodate any budget. Seriously, where can you get a pancake and hashbrowns for under $6, including tax? I ordered a short stack (2 fluffy pancakes) and a side of hashbrowns. My girlfriend ordered corn beef hash, hashbrowns, sausage and coffee-under $7. I enjoyed my food, but, my girlfriend said the corn beef hash, was NOT homemade which was very disappointing.
The staff was pleasant and smiling, which is always a bonus!
