Several years ago, this was a really good Mexican restaurant and one of our favorites. The owner, Martin, was always on-site, running the dining room. Food was good, drinks were strong, and the place was always packed (often with a line out the door).
Then Martin opened another restaurant in Dublin, and turned this one over to his son.
And we've been disappointed ever since, though I'm usually surprised that it's still fairly busy.
The food isn't as good. The service can be downright un-attentive and slow (sometimes rediculously slow as servers stand around while you need a drink, or your check, or some salsa, or...).
Poorly managed. Consistently disappointing. We used to love it, but no longer do.
OK, say something nice... they have a nice patio that's great to sit outside on and drink their (still) strong and good margeritas, and eat chips & salsa.
But Martin should fix the management, and the kitchen, and the servers.
