“Great Italian Dining In Northeast Columbus”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2014

From the moment we walked in we were treated like family from both the waitress and the owner, who introduced himself from the very start. It’s a small, intimate dining area. The bruschetta that we ordered as an appetizer was one of the best I’ve had. The rolls were good. Sauces were unique and flavorful and the meats were cooked to perfection. Make sure you save room for the Italian desserts as well! I would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone who is looking for a romantic or ‘special occasion’ dinner!

“Best Italian in the city, hands down”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 21, 2013 via mobile

I have ate italian all over the country as well as in Italy and can confidently say this is some of the best I have ever had. After living years in Boston and a regular of the north end, Pasqualone's la Plaia puts some of Boston's top italian in their shadows. Dave, the head chef, Chris, the head waiter, and Laurie, the hostess and Dave's wife, are some of the most enjoyable people to dine with and treat you like family. There aren't many places where you can dine with one chef is doing all the work and hear the pounding of the veal braciole in the background.

“Now known as Pasqualone's”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013 via mobile

I used to frequent this place a long time ago when it was La Plaia. Now, under the name Pasqualone's the great southern Italian food continues to flow from that kitchen. My brother's veal parmesean was top shelf and my bracciola was fantastic. The service was more like being served by your family so it was warm, inviting and comfortable.

A bit of a drive out of the city, but this place surely doesn't disappoint.

“Excellent Italian”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

Every time we've gone to La Plaia the food has been excellent. The chef's specials are the best! He always has something special and it's always wonderful. It's not the cheapest place ot eat but it's definitely worth it especially for a special night out.

“You will wish you found this wonderful Italian Restaurant a long time ago”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2012

What is better than a totally authentic, Italian restaurant with wonderful atmosphere, and outstanding food, yet only eight tables. With the owner in the kitchen and his wife directing the front of the house, you will absolutely feel that you have been treated to an Italian vacation.

With only a few tables, reservations are a must on weekends, and a good idea during the week. It is located in an area where you would not seek a fine dining establishment to be, but don't be dissuaded. This is a real find. If you have six in your party, request the round table for six. The specials each night are always innovative, and to die for. We have been introducing this place to our friends since we found it, and all want to return. The full name of the place is, Pasqualone's La Plaia. The telephone is 614-890-2070
