Description: Welcome to Cap City Fine Diner As with any diner, you feel immediately comfortable and at ease. Like no other diner, it’s artsy and cool. The Cap City menu follows suit, with recognizable favorites like meatloaf receiving unexpected and delightful upscale twists, alongside trendier chef-driven dishes with big flavors. Desserts at this Cameron Mitchell Restaurant are retro cool, taste better than you remember and are showstopper sized.

“First time but definitely not the last!”
Reviewed March 12, 2013 via mobile

Great dinner and service. They were very busy on Sunday evening but service was great, food served hot and fast. Don't miss the appetizer of the home made potato chips with Blue Cheese! OMG! They are fabulous!!! Our party had the Ruben, Stroganoff, Fish & Chips and Salmon. Everyone was happy. Desserts were fabulous too. Cant say enough about our great experience here! We'll be back next time we're in Columbus!

“Great Brunch Items”
Reviewed March 9, 2013 via mobile

We had eggs Benedict. Very good but the substitution of boiled ham for Canadian bacon doesn't work for me. Some cost cutting measures really diminish the experience.
We also had a Reuben sandwich with fries(very good).
The potato soup was very good the 4 egg omelette was very good too.the fried potato chunks were very tasty.
A nice brunch destination.
The next time I will have the steak and eggs vs. the eggs Benedict
Overall I give Cap City Diner high marks.

We chose this restaurant for its location and decent reviews on Trip Advisor. This is a comfortable restraurant with hearty food. A wide selection of plates and lareg portions. Service was fine for a Monday evening.

“A little noisy, a little pricey, but great food & service!”
Reviewed March 8, 2013

Cameron Mitchell tends to have one of the more expensive restaurant chains in the central Ohio area. Cap City is one of the more affordable, but still offers great comfort food and excellent service. My wife and I went on a Sunday afternoon not realizing there was a concert that evening at Ohio State. We made reservations via Open Table and despite the crowd, we were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time - and they were able to accomodate our request for a "quieter area" do to my wife having a voice disorder that makes it hard for her to be heard in noisy environments. The food is great, service prompt - I have yet to have a bad entree from their menu.
