The food here is always tasty and I love looking at all the neat art on the walls and around the restaurant. The service has been good each time we've visited. Really unique place, highly recommended.

We have literally spent thousands of dollars over the last 20 years at Spagio's. The wine bar is great.

I've been here numerous times and every time has been a very good experience. Menu is always very creative. Food is always very well prepared and portions are the right size. The wait staff is always very attentive. They have a dessert case to die for. The only difficult part is the parking lot in the back of the facility is always very crowded but the food is worth the effort.

A neighborhood favorite, we came on a recommendation, We had bottle of suggested wine from our server, which was very good. We got an order of fries, a craving was met, they were good. We started with the excellent breadbasket and unsalted butter . So far so good. The crab cake and lobster bisque came next. The crab cake used to be excellent with it's no nonsense, this is how you fix a crab cakes sauce that allowed the flavors to come through. We got a new dish this time. It was Asian inspired, with a Ponzu Aioli sauce. In other words, the dishit had a soy/citrus sauce on veggies and a mayo type sauce on the side. The crab cake could not hold up to the intense, strong flavors and we found ourselves scraping off the veggies to get to the cake. The lobster bisque was delicious but it had separated into cream/butter and that should never happen. We also had an uninspired soup of the day. Next came the Spagio Seafood Stew. The menu describes it as "wood fired oven, clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp pieces and salmon in a creamy broth with potatoes & assorted vegetables, topped with toasted french bread and garlic aioli." We were looking forward to it. It was ok, the broth a bit thin and it just didn't live up to it's description. The lobster ravioli was next. the sauce was excellent, wonderfully flavored with butter and fresh lemon, but the ravioli was not good. the lobster was placed in the shells with no spices at all. I had to open them up and flood the inside with sauce to get rid of the "fishy taste." Since this is one of my favorite dishes and I will order it when ever I see it on a menu, I must say it was the the worst I had ever had.. The kitchen need to be shaped up. All these dishes could be really good with a little care. There is no excuse for a chef to send out separated sauces and unseasoned food. we were there the night before Thanksgiving, I can only hope that the regular chefs were home getting their own meals ready for the holiday. See photos.

Excellent at every level. The food is delicious and served beautifully, it's always a good value, the desserts are amazing and they really seem to love their customers and strive to give good service. Try the prime rib. It's a great value for one of the best steaks we've ever had. Or, try the halibut and seafood stew. You just can't go wrong here.
