I had not tasted Mediterranean food in a very long time and when I walked past "Istanbul" on Worth Avenue, I had to walk in. The portions are generous so I only ordered a sampler cold appetizer platter with typical Turkish delights. I was not disappointed. My husband generally does not feel very adventurous when it comes to international foods, but he did try a little of everything. The service was great--the hostess and the servers were hospitable and attentive. The ethnic music in the background was melodic and soothing. It was audible but not too loud to listen to while we ate. The prices were modest for such large portions. I had to ask for a carry out tray to take the rest of my dish with me. This was the last stop of our Easton Town Center experience before heading back to the hotel and I really enjoyed it.
