We got a suite w 2 queen beds. It was so spacious. We could have easily fit in cots or pack n plays. The kitchen area had a microwave, coffee maker, and mini-fridge. The beds were comfy. Having a tv in both the living room and bedroom was a nice treat...easy to put shows on in one room for our daughter while watching the news in the other while getting ready.
Parking is $12/day w key card access. The hotel seems fairly secure w key cards needed for the elevator too.
The hot breakfasts were pretty good...much better than just the continental breakfast offerings. The 5:30-7 options are easily a full dinner. The options we had were hot dogs every night along w another entree...one night it was chicken fingers and the other night pasta w meatballs. There were baked potatoes every night too along w soup...nachos, chips and a basic salad option.
The location of the hotel is good. Very close to public transportation, restaurants, etc.
The indoor pool was connected to the outside pool...water was a little cold.
Overall a great stay!

This is the crown jewel of all Drury Inn & Suites. I travel frequently for work and stay at Drury whenever I can. I recently stayed at the Columbus Convention Center Drury and was very impressed with the quality of staff and room. The food that perfect and they have a nice large eating area, nicer than most.

We chose the hotel just because it was in downtown. I was impressed with the hotel. It was newer building, we got a suite with king bed with a separate living area, 709. It was just $10 more than other standard rooms but it was well worth the money. The bedroom and living room was connected but separated with mini kitchenette area and bathroom with doors. After our 4 years old went to bed, we enjoyed to relax without worrying about waking him up. The hotel was alos centrally located, close to north high street that has tons to do, and amenity was nice. We enjoyed the indoor pool (although it is connected to outdoor side of pool under water so water is colder side), hot tub, hot breakfast and 5:30 kickback (light dinner, salad bar, baked potatoe, mac and cheese, veg sticks, chips), free in room wifi with good strength, and two drink tickets. Really they are basically feeding us for breakfast and light dinner. Shower room had a rain shower head with good water pressure (its a key for me:)) There were 5 bachelorette party in the hotel this weekend but they never bothered us with any noise. Shout out for Toni at front desk for her knowledge of town and friendliness.
Only cons were the view we got from our room, but we were there for one night and not for a view. so no problem with us.
We will visit again.

Room Tip: Corner room with separate living area. its really just $10 difference but well worth the money.

Very nice hotel, and close to attractions. King suite was perfect for two adults and two kids, since the suite is two rooms--one king bed, and sofa that folds out. Suite has a microwave and fridge, which is extremely helpful when traveling with youngsters! The 5:30 Kickback and complimentary breakfast makes this hotel an outstanding value. They were both varied in selection, and offered hot filling food.
The staff, especially the gentleman at check-in, was very friendly and helpful. The only reason I did not rate this 5 stars is due to our pool experience. Because there is no lifeguard or hotel staff present, some children at the pool were running wild and made it difficult for younger kids (and other adults) to enjoy this amenity. The adults without kids were all crammed into the Jacuzzi. I think it would be helpful for the hotel to have a staff person in there to curb poor behavior since the parents of these children were too busy on their cell phones to do so. This would allow all guests to fully enjoy this amenity. .

Wonderful room!! We rented a suite with 2 queen beds and then a separate living area with a couch with a hide a way bed, table/chairs, kitchen/bar area. This was so wonderful for our family! My only complaint regarding the room was that the shower room does not have a vent/fan. The breakfast and evening food/snack time was great as well! We were there for a convention at the convention center so it was great being "attached" to the motel.

We stayed at the Drury in Columbus to attend a 50th anniversary party, with 4 kids in tow. The suite was large enough for us to not feel cramped. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. The only issue with the staff would be that this was our first time in Columbus and we went to the desk to ask for something to do in the afternoon/evening. They were not very helpful and didn't have any brochures to give us. On the other hand, my kids loved the free popcorn and pop. The breakfast was good and always filled. I did not like all of the dogs going through the hotel. I also thought the elevator was crowded. One other thing, it is ridiculous to pay for parking when you are already paying for a room. And it was not per reservation, it was per night!!!

We stayed here while my husband was interviewing for a job in Columbus. The kickback in the evenings and free popcorn and soda from 3-10 were added bonuses that my kids loved. The rooms were nice and clean and smelled good. The only problem we had was the chemicals in the pool and hot tub were to strong. Staff was extra nice and helpful!
