This is a great neighborhood gem. My only complaint is I wish that i lived closer. :) The food is always good and service is friendly.

The food here is great. It's counter service, but there are full meals as well as sandwiches, salads, and soups. Everything I've ever had has been tasty. Everything's cooked to order. Try the shrimp: they may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of middle eastern food, but they're great.

One of my favourite places to dine when visiting folks in Columbus. Fast service even when crowded (which it usually is.) Food always seems fresh and well prepared.
A highly recommended establishment.

This is by far the best Middle Eastern food I've had in Columbus, and some of the best I've ever had. I live close enough to this restaurant that we have eaten here many times, and have also had their food catered at a few events. The quality of their ingredients is top notch, and their seasonings all seem to be pretty perfect. They definitely have the best falafel I've ever had, and their spicy black bean hummus is fantastic; both are a must if you eat here. The staff is very friendly, and they will keep bringing you fresh pita if you need it at no extra charge. The best part is that you can eat to your heart's content without breaking the bank (approximately $10/person including appetizers and main courses).

Lavash offers a great Middle Eastern menu with a fresh, flavorful taste. And it's not just kabobs. There's a bit of variety for everyone.

It's not an overly fancy place, but it's clean, comfortable and visually appealing. I get the feeling it's a place where neighborhood regulars feel at home. I think the owner makes a poinnt of going around checking on things and trying to get to know customers.

There's not waiter service at your table. You order at the counter, then they call you when your order is ready. It is what it is. And once you know how things work, you get comfortable with it.

There are small booths for and tables for groups of two to four, a few bigger tables which could lare groups of eight to ten, and there are tables available in a patio area along the side of the building when the weather cooperates.

The lentil soup was a great way to start. The salads are huge. It's hard to describe how delicious the grilled flavor of the meat is. The kefta kabob is hard to beat. There are a lot of other things I would still like to try.

The restaurant is pretty easy to find. It's on the main north-south street through Columbus a little north of the Ohio State University campus in the Clintonville neighborhood. You can park in the back by entering from the street on the north end of the building.

All in all, it's a great experience. I need to make plans on visiting again soon.
