Clean, great location and a decent amount of food options near by. Food at the hotel was good too. Rooms are comfortable and staff was very friendly and helpful. Super close to the airport and lots of parking at the hotel.

The front desk staff is very helpful with guests concerning many different problems that guests might fall upon. Such as trying to get to the hotel location from where the guests is coming from. They help guests that are already checked in with many aspects of their stay. Breakfast is served on time and shuts down at the end time posted, so don't be late. The evening social event has a nice selection of food and non-alcoholic beverages also there is a bar for those who want alcohol. Bed is very comfortable.

Hotel stay was great need better quality of breakfast food brands person cooking should watch if food is over cooked or freezer burned overall hotel was clean customer service was good pool was closed long

My wife and I decided to stay here for a night before our trip back home. We had been in the Columbus area for a week and had stayed at the Homewood Suites near Ohio State University which was an excellent hotel. We have also stayed at many Homewood Suites throughout the US. The Homewood Suites at the Columbus Airport is by far the worst Homewood Suites we have ever stayed at. At check in which was around 3, we were told that they only had one room available. Once we checked into the room, we noticed a strange odor in the room. It smelled musty and moldy. We opened the windows and made coffee to see if the odor would go away but it didn’t. We contacted the front desk and was told that it was the carpet cleaning that caused this odor and that they would have someone from housekeeping to come in with Febreeze to spray. She mentioned that she knew what smell I was referring to and indicated that they use the same carpet cleaner in all rooms. Once the front desk and the housekeeper came to the room, Febreeze was sprayed and the front desk person said that the musty moldy odor would dissipate shortly. At that point, my wife and I felt we really didn’t have any options and considering that we would be leaving the next day we decided to keep the room. Unfortunately, the odor didn’t go away completely. We kept the windows open to get some fresh air in the room. Throughout the night we didn’t sleep well because of the odor. It was the worst experience we’ve had.

Room Tip: Please do not get a room on the first floor behind the kitchen

Room was beautiful with a fireplace and marble counters. Nice decor. Appliances all worked fine and were all clean. Air conditioner just kept running and running without cooling the room below 75 degrees. Nightstand light switch was difficult to find (in the dark) due to being directly between the power outlets on the base of the light. Shower worked well, but tub didn't drain, so you end up standing in a soapy soup of shaved hair and everything you tried to wash off. And, they charge for beer/wine at the evening social, unlike every other Homewood Suites where I've stayed.
