We have been staying at Embassy Suites for years. This Embassy suites is one of the best so far. The complimentary breakfast and manager's recepition is one of the reasons we stay here! The rooms are always clean, and the breakfast is wonderful!

Love Embassy Suites room setup - separate rooms, fridge, office, and sofa bed for kids make me wonder why families of 3-4 would opt for anything else. Stayed here on three separate occaisions during summer vacation. Had three different suites each time - all were immaculate. Best office I've had access to with three laptops and a printer. Workout room was outstanding. Son loved the pool. Hotel seems almost brand new. Staff was incredibly courteous and helpful. Hotel breakfasts are not things of beauty, but breakfast here was best we've encountered in a long time. Would stay here again in a skinny minute if travels take us to Columbus area. Outstanding experience.

Four college friends spent a Saturday night at this hotel and were very pleased with the accomodations and how the staff looked after us. There was a considerable number of young people checking in and out when we arrived but the staff kept things orderly and made the extra effort to store some food in a refrigerator for us until we could actually check in. Breakfast was wonderful and the line moved quickly. I would recommend this hotel to friends or families looking for a place to light while visiting Columbus, Ohio.

Much like a previous reviewer, our family of 4 stayed at the Embassy Suites during the NFJS conference June 10-12. As Hilton Honors members, we were pleased the conference was held in a Hilton branded facility with complimentary breakfast where we could earn points for future stays, and at such an impressively clean and conveniently located newer hotel at that. While my spouse attended the opening conference seminars early on Friday afternoon, the kids and I were able to check-in right away and enjoy the suite and hotel amenities, especially the indoor pool area. We were able to stay in the suite and check out after the conference's final Sunday evening session without incurring late checkout charges. All staffers we encountered were friendly and welcoming. The suite's beds were comfortable and not overly soft/worn out, and we also appreciated the sectional style couch which converted to a sofabed for two to give our kids a comfy and separate place to sleep.

The proximity to the Port Columbus Airport didn't pose a noise issue inside the hotel in our experience. Our suite was on the fourth floor (of 7 floors total), and planes passing over the building weren't disruptive to rest or relaxing in the suite. It was fun for the kids to view planes through the pool area's windows while swimming.

Our only quibbles were relatively minor and wouldn't dissuade us from staying again if the occasion arose, but are points worth mentioning for other travelers considering a stay here. The suite's fridge lacked a freezer section, resolved by utilizing the ice bucket and ice machine. A too small parking lot for the large number of guests and conference attendees was adeptly resolved by hotel staff/managers directing drivers to parallel park along parking lot curbs/dividers normally not designated for parking, or at an adjacent Homewood Suites' lot. We were grateful we had opted to drive our more compact commuter car instead of our minivan so that we could more readily eke out an improvised curbside parking spot when the lot's regular parking spaces were full. The $9.95 charge per 24 hour period to utilize wired or wi-fi Internet access in room ideally would have been complimentary given the room rate and competing hotels that offer free in-room net access.

In summary, a spotless suite and public areas, excellent indoor pool (and jacuzzi, too), friendly staff, complimentary breakfast, a short drive to various Columbus attractions/museums/parks (COSI on W. Broad Street and Franklin Park and Conservatory on E. Broad Street were big hits for us), added up to an excellent experience for us overall.
