We arrived at the Marriott hotel in downtown Cleveland and we were made most welcome by our service receptionist "Leanne" We had booked for two nights and we asked to have a good view as this was our first visit to Cleveland. The room and views were spectacular. We were on the 23rd floor with views of Lake Erie the Browns Stadium The rock and roll hall of fame science museum court house and a host of other site stretching right up the coast towards Bay Village to the east and the city airport to the west. The central location of the hotel makes it an excellent choice for both business and leisure. This quality hotel was made exceptional by the quality of the staff and their attitude towards ensuring that our stay was as pleasurable as possible. 5 Stars from me.

My wife and I took a one day trip to Cleveland and spent the night at this hotel. The location is an easy walk to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Browns Stadium and the Science center. It is also very convenient to a number of very good restaurants.

We had a lakeview concierge room with a King Sized bed on the 17th floor with a really nice view of the lake, Browns Stadium etc... The room was average in size, very clean, with the typical amenties. They use Bath and Bodyworks products. The bed was extremely comfortable, one of the best that we have had. No significant noise from adjacent rooms or the street.

Concierge room allowed us access to the lounge on the 20th floor with free drinks, coffee, and some fruit/snacks. There were also evening hors d'oeuvres and free breakfast with eggs and oatmeal.

We did not have time to use the workout facilities or pool. You can park on the street in many areas at meters for free between 6 pm and 7 am.

The concierge suggested Mallorca for dinner and it did not disappoint.

If I were headed back to Cleveland to visit the downtown points of interest, I would definitely stay here.

When we looked to book a trip to Cleveland to celebrate a birthday we turned to TripAdvisor and this hotel was listed as the #1 place in Cleveland to stay.

Upon arrival, we were checked in fairly quickly, but were not provided any level outstanding service, the rooms though are where things feel really flat down on its face. The rooms were extremely dusty and unkept, seriously lacking in standard housekeeping. Additionally we found previous guests left over "items" around including a fork stuck between two cushions that jabbed into one of the guests when they sat down.

I must give credit to the concierge desk for being able to arrange reservations to Lola at the last minute despite our own attempts to book the same restuarant, although this really isn't that uncommon in terms of Concierge being able to do just that.

If it wasn't for the location and the price, this hotel really would be rated lower then it is.

We chose this hotel over the Hyatt Arcade and the Renaissance for a night away and absolutely made the right choice. Sure there are homeless folks, as other reviews mentioned, but this is downtown Cleveland. We walked through the Hyatt and through City Center where the Renaissance is, and there are just as many homeless there. Do not let that influence your choice. We had a Corner King, Lake and City View, on the 17th floor facing northwest and had an excellent view of the stadium, rock hall, etc. The rooms are modern (as in not dated) and clean, with a great luxury/price ratio. The restaurant was great for breakfast. We highly recommend John Q's Steakhouse for dinner, about a block and a half away, it's not cheap, but like this hotel, it's a great value for what you get. The location is closer to the lake than some of the other hotels - Brown's stadium, the science museum, steamship, and rock hall are all walking distance. It's still only a block or two from the other hotels, so the location really couldn't be any better. We look forward to going back and spending more time. We really could not have been any happier and highly reccomend this hotel.

My friends and I stayed here to take in a baseball game and a football game. The location is great. Walking distance from both stadiums. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The only problem with this hotel is that it is so close to everything that with the football game going on the hotel was packed. It is big enough to handle the crowds.

I was in Cleveland for one night on business and enjoyed my stay. Check-in and check-out was smooth and the receptionists were friendly. The rooms are clean and new and well equipped. Coffee maker, iron/ironing board, safe, etc, all standard these days in the better hotels. No robe or slippers. The queen size bed was comfy and the bedding was soft. The working desk had a good chair and lots of outlets for plugs. I didn't see wired internet, though I'm sure it's available. Wifi is $12.95 a day, which seems steep to me. My view was of a parking lot but I didn't really care for one night. Downstairs in the lobby there is a bar and restaurant that I didn't try--restaurant row is a few blocks away and an easy walk. There is a compute next to the reception desk where you can print out boarding passes for free. There is a small business center, really a small room, with a couple of computers that you can use for email, etc. The gym on the fourth floor is somewhat small but enough room for four modern treadmills (w/ tv), and some other cardio equipment. No real freeweights to speak of. The room was under renovation so it was a bit of a mess but the machines still worked. There is a medium-sized indoor pool and hot tub and sauna next to the workout room. On the same floor is a laundry room with one washer and one dryer, which I guess is available for guests to use--it didn't seem coin operated to me. For some reason there is a microwave in the same room.

All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I would stay there again when doing business in the area.
