This hotel is very convenient to the Cleveland Clinic. It is an upscale facility with quality finish materials in the lobby and the rooms. My room was large with a modern feeling color palette. There was a lot of white in e room which feels a little stark. The carpet is a very low level, gray color. The bathroom is upscale with a nice glass door, and nice toiletries. The shower water control was very loose in the room I had. The room was clean with the exceptional of some spots that could be cleaned on the carpet. The halls approaching the rooms are a hard stark white which I did not find pleasing.
The fitness center is fairly large with a lot of equipment. I gathered that it was open to the public somehow because folks were coming in who obviously not staying at the hotel. There are only four treadmills so I questioned whether access could be a problem at busy times. My most concerning issue during this stay was the cleanliness of the treadmills. THEY WERE FILTHY. You could see that the machines were coated with perspiration from dozens of prior users. Using the available wipes would not adequately remove the grime. The earphone jack on the treadmill I side was faulty and the earphone would not remain plugged in.More
