“Wonderful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2012

The variety, the liveliness, the atmosphere in general--aside from the wonderful choices of food. It's a must for any visitors to the area. A place that they may not know about but should be advertised more widely over the U.S.

“Been going there since I could walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012

This place is great. The building is 100 years old and looks great. Be sure to stop at Frank's Bratwurst for a brat with sauerkraut sandwich (I suggest getting Stadium Mustard on it). There are tons of ethnic foods to choose from as well. Be sure to stop at one of the many bakery stands to get pepperoni bread. Great value when you shop there. There is also a separate building for produce as well. Come to get all elements you need to cook a great meal at home; stay for lunch.

“Fun Stop if Visiting Cleveland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2012

Be sure not to miss the West Side Market if you're new to Cleveland! It's a wonderful experience - a feast for the eyes and your tummy! Be sure to check the market's schedule as it's not opened monday - saturday as you would expect from a retail environment. We spent over an hour looking at all the different meats, cheeses, and baked goods and sampled a few different foods. This is definitely one of the nicer city markets we visited - we enjoyed it even more than Boston's Quincy Market.

The only thing missing was a seating area with tables although you could climb the stairs and sit on a balcony while eating.

Definitely worth visiting!

“Nice Market in Ohio City”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 23, 2012

The market is a collection of privately run stalls in a couple of interesting buildings. I believe there are bigger and better markets in other cities (St. Lawrence in Toronto for example), but this has a good selection and a nice feel for a small city.

“great food and service”

It was a pleasure seeing how this establishment has grown and cleaned up. There is a wide variety of good ethnic foods and fresh produce at reasonable prices.
