New York entertainment at Cleveland prices. I absolutely LOVE all of the Playhouse Square theaters. Each one has its own personality and the views, sound systems, and ambiance are all second to none. Keep an eye out on their offerings...there is something for everyone and with the range of prices, it's accessible for most people. Great restaurants along Euclid within walking distance with convenient parking nearby.
So proud of all those who have worked and continue to work to preserve this very special part of Cleveland! Thank you!!

My wife and I attended the performance of Les Miserables at Cleveland's Palace Theatre. The performance was excellent -- the lighting spectacular and the production team and cast did a remarkable job of melding Hugo's creation with a few modern technological twists. The actors communicated very well with song and script, adding their own personal touches to give the production life and reality. The orchestra complemented the production exceptionally well and the audio was the best I've ever heard in a theatre of such magnitude. The entire experience was excellent....We'd go there again....and again....and again....

Great menu selections -from sandwiches to hot dinners. Nice bar area for the sports enthusiasts and a quaint dining room for families...also have party rooms in rear of restaurant that serve nicely for small groups under 200.

Playhouse Square is something first-time visitors to Cleveland are always surprised to discover when they come. When they think of Cleveland they don't equate it with fine theater..a huge mistake on their part! The theaters themselves are renovated beautifully and are worth touring even if their visits don't allow them the time to attend a performance here. To think that these theaters were once movie theaters is hard to comprehend nowdays for most of us who hadn't lived in the era of grandiose movie theaters. Make sure to pay close attention to the ceilings and surroundings once inside them. All the plaster work and gold leaf are amazing. They're definitely worthy of the first-class talent and plays they draw from other cities for performances. Plays aren't the only things going on here. Many one-night-only events take place so it is well worth looking at their website to see what's in town if you are going to be in the Cleveland area on business or any travel, or if you live in the surrounding area and haven't visited the theaters lately.
