I have sat many places in Progressive Field and have never felt like I had a bad seat. Lots of food selections and kind and helpful staff. They also put on amazing fireworks displays after some baseball games. The fireworks always have great soundtracks too.

Really nice ballpark!! Very clean and safe surrounding area. Very cool standing sections down right field.

We went for Fourth of July. Entry was quick. Sodas were expensive. A cup of small water was $3. Canned beer was cheap, but might have been the sponsorship that night. Lots of food options. We had nosebleed seats, in section 559, but still able to see everything. Firework show was very good to music. Go if you get a chance.

Location: If staying at one of the downtown hotels, this is an easy and safe walk.
Views: A great ball park with views from essentially everywhere. We had seats in the 570s and it was still fine.
Customer service: At section 153, there is a customer service section that will handle ticket issues, as well as things like first game certificates. They are supposed to improve the experience by handling issues and looking for opportunities to delight. There are about 12 in orange shirts marked ambassador.
Price: Yeah maybe the 2016 was an excuse to boost prices, but its not cheap.
Food: Good variety, but the cost is more than some markets like Pittsburgh. Only beer was $2 the night we went. I was told by a fan that they do allow you to bring drinks and food in if the bag is not too large. Bringing anything in to the park is a no go in other places like Toronto.
Fans: Maybe it was the section we were in, but instead of drunk, loud obnoxious fans in the high up sections that I am used to, we were with true fans who were pleasant to be around.
Special event: Also timed it on Lindor bobblehead day and July 4 fireworks. Certain sections must be cleared before the 10 minute show because there are lots of fireworks and some are shot really low.
Overall: Glad we went, but still stinging from the price. Only thing that would have been better would have been if the home team did not loose 1 to nil to the Padres.
