I've always enjoyed walking through the cemetery. My grandmother is buried there, but also it is nice just to walk through and look at the headstones. It's pretty and green.

“THE ANGEL”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

If you enjoy looking at old tomb stones this is the place to go. The main draw for me is the ANGEL. She has been photographed by many ...it is just something to visit. Any time of year

“Cleveland Treasure”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

I made a wrong turn and happened upon the Lake View Cemetery. What a treasure! We visited the Wade Chapel - a must see! There is a beautiful piece of Tiffany stained glass and the walls are covered with an amazing Tiffany glass mosaic. The docent clearly loves his work. Make sure to ask him about the mosaic. We also spent time in the Garfield Memorial. Again, the docent made the visit well worthwhile. There's a great view of the city from the rooftop balcony. The grounds are beautifully maintained throughout the cemetery. I loved being there.

“Beautiful to explore!”
Reviewed September 18, 2012

We love going there in the spring, just in time for the blooming of the daffodils. The monuments to explore are wonderful.

“Trees, grass and peace”
Reviewed September 13, 2012

Peaceful and relaxing place, beautiful greenery, but that's it. Nothing to write home about, if you're right there beside it, go ahead and take a look but I wouldn't make the effort otherwise.
