I actually like the hotel itself. clean, new comfortable. However, their staff are very rude. They took forever to bring my car key and without feeling any sorry. I saw the janitor couples of times during my stay. And every time she gave me a funny look. Well, the service does not match with the best hotel brand of IHG.

When my brother and I travelled to Cleveland Clinic from Texas in September 2013 we had some problems. His two day checkup for heart failure turned into a three week stay in the intensive care unit for necessary treatment. At the Intercontinental Suites the desk clerk said we had to check out at the original day because of full bookings. The manager Richard Owens was able when he observed our problem to find a solution to let us stay for the longer number of days to match the in-hospital stay. A sincere "thank you" to him for his top notch attitude and hospitality to guests at this hotel. This gentleman's attention to our problem is worthy of recognition. Five stars for service. Thanks.

This hotel is close to the Cleveland Clinics so is good for people visiting there but it has an off putting air for those who are healthy. The row of wheelchairs on entry or the clinic grade protection of the food at the breakfast buffet all speak to guests of disease.

They offer kitchenettes for those who wish to avoid diseased guests in the dining room - immune compromised guests. BUT they do not offer plates, glasses or cutlery except for charging $10 for such "additions". They act as if they can offer beds and then charge for sheets or offer sinks and then charge for towels. Rather poor form on their part.

Very comfortable and calm atmosphere. Public transportation and hotel shuttle just minutes from downtown. Don't be fooled because of it's affiliation with the Cleveland clinic, you don't even feel like you are located around a clinic. Concierge and front desk staff were very friendly and professional.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel, about five miles from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that we came to Cleveland to see. The front desk staff, valets and parking attendants were all cheerful and helpful. The rooms were very big, with small kitchenette, living room and separate bedroom. Large bathrooms too. All very clean and comfortable. Two TVs in each suite too. Coin operated "laundry lounge" on second floor, a bit expensive but very convenient. Close to both the Baseball and Football stadiums as well. The restaurant for breakfast was a bit out of whack. The staff seemed confused as to who took care of what tables and you had to ask for anything you needed like refills on coffee. I would stay at the hotel again, but I would skip the restaurant, however room service was good and reasonably quick.
