This restaurant is located in an old house near Shaker Square. The dining rooms (multiple) are squeezed into the house's rooms and there is a bar upstairs. Our table was not ready when we arrived for our 7:30 reservation and we tried & failed to get a drink upstairs. There was a crowd around the tiny bar and it seemed that no one was attending the few scattered tables there. Both the dining rooms and the bar are noisy and the speakers play music loudly which adds to the noise level.
Luckily, we got our table after only a few minutes. The menu includes quite a few choices of small and large plates and there was a long printed list of specials. (Always nice to have the specials printed!) The difficult part was in choosing between so many delicious sounding choices. Our group tried 4 different small plates and 4 different large plates - all were excellent. The menu includes choices that will please both meat eaters and vegetarians. Reasonably priced - most entrees were between 15 & 20.
The service was good but not up to the level of the food. A comment about one drink order was ignored as was a request for a glass of wine.
TIp: I think this restaurant has only street parking.
Tip: Stairs up to the front door; I do not know if they have a ramp or other accomodations.
