I stayed there for a short business-trip, so I didn't get a chance to check out all their offerings like the pool and so on... but it was a good stay anyway. The folks are friendly, the rooms fine and the AC did work to the max. Would have appreciated valet-parking, but it worked without, too. Colleague was driving, so why should I care. :) The hotel is located very near to town-center, especially the baseball field, the basketball arena and other event places.

Would chose it again, that's for sure. Free cookies for the win!

Great option in a city without too many top properties. Very convenient access right off I-90 and close to everything. Could have walked to the ball field- a major plus. Very courteous staff, helpful and knowledgable. Recommended a great car service, only 6 bucks to go to or from the downtown entertainment t district. Hotel has a shuttle until 9 that will do it for free. Parking is a minus, you don't expect to pay 16 at a Hilton Garden, but at least they have a lot and its not the 69 I recently paid at a Chicago hotel. Clean comfy rooms, very good rates. Will stay here again for sure.

Room Tip: Get an even room, view of city and ball park. Odd rooms face the freeway

Thank you for the excellent review on your stay with us. And yes, that car service is our preferred transportation vendor Red Sparrow. Nice 4 door sedans for a reasonable price - just like our rooms. Also glad to know you will be back to stay with us again. Take care.

I stayed here for an event at Quicken Loans Arena and would stay here again. While the hotel is located next to I-90, the road noise was not an issue.

The folks at the front desk were very helpful with my needs and the rest of the stay is what you would expect out of an HGI.

The upload (not the download) speed at the hotel could be improved, especially when you have to transmit 100mb+ files to work.

One area of concern was the workout room - it is small and on my visit it was dirty. The dirt was especially noticeable on the floor with dust bunnies, etc. How did I notice this? The hotel provides yoga/workout mats and so I saw the cleanliness while on the floor stretching, doing push-ups and other ab exercises. I mentioned this to the front desk and they immediately paged the maintenance department.

While cookies are a fixture at HGIs, the frequency of cookies at this location seemed to be higher than most (which was great ...and not so great for me).

Seven of us were in Cleveland for the Senior Games, getting four rooms from July 27 -30, 2013. The hotel staff was wonderful. The shuttle service was flawless, even though seven male basketball players over sixty and over six foot had to climb in and out. We were ferried to and from Cleveland State like it was our private limo service. The rooms were extremely clean and well kept, proven by the required laying on the floor to stretch out the old bodies, something you don't want to do in a lot of hotels. Downtown is close by. All seven of us were very pleased with our selection and would certainly stay there again.

Room Tip: If the Indians are in town, the rooms on the north side look right at the stadium, which is great un...

I stayed at this hotel on a week long business trip. Although it didn't have all the amentities like I was home their tremendous staff made great efforts in making me feel welcome. The breakfast in the morning was great and the bartenders at night were awesome!

Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was delivered as advertised on the website. You are right across from the baseball field, which is right next to the basketball stadium (where LeBron use to play?!), which is all nestled in the middle of ALL the downtown action! The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the local area and their recommendations (for food, fun, etc.) are superb.

Piece of advice: downtown parking is a nightmare (at best) and pricey. So if you don't mind taking a walking a scenic tour, do so. We walked everywhere we went and left the car at the hotel. It was worth it. You get to see more and experience the day and night life of the town. We ate dinner one night at the House of Blues---awesome! The chef, Aaron Sanchez (from the Food Network) created the menu. We also visited the Horseshoe Casino. There is a minimum(s) at the tables (i.e. blackjack, roulette, etc) however at around 8:30pm, it goes up (i.e. to $25 per hand).

Overall, our experience of the town and the hotel was nice. I would recommend the hotel and the town to anyone.

You are spot on - We are "Close to all the action". Not only are we walking distance to the casino, House of Blues, Quicken Loans Arena and Progressive Field but you can take our complimentary shuttle if you rather not walk. Glad you had an excellent time with us and in Cleveland.
